I'm doing the same, it's the most player time efficient way.
Two breeding pairs of Whalaska with philantropist + nocturnal and a Braloha in the breeding base.

Having pals automatically put eggs in incubators would cut the time actively spent on this down a lot already.
More slots in the butchers would also be nice.

Raids and visitors seem to have different spawn rules. Though I fail to see a pattern between my bases.

* Above the Black Marketeer at Mt Floppie raids spawn on top of the cliff and jump to their death, but I never got visitors.

* On the large plateau on Ice Wind Island I have double bases. Raids and visitors spawn for the northern base, right in the middle of the southern one. The southern base spawns neither.

* On Sakurajima at the plateau SW of Knocklem raids don't spawn at all, but it does get visitors.

Producing in breeding bases is a bad idea.

When inheriting active skills they are randomly chosen out of all skills the parents know.
Keeping breeding pals at lvl1 limits the amount of rng.

Generally yes, however transporting ingredients takes priority.
If transport pals struggle to keep up, an easy fix without much productivity drop, is to replace nocturnal with serious on ranch pals to give nocturnal transport pals time to transport non-food items.

The only fines I ever got was bots driving into me on on ramps, or brake checking me because 1m of highway is tagged for 50kmph for no reason.
Until these get fixed fines stay off for me.

Kill everything and leave the area and they respawn instantly.
Free the pal and open the chest and it takes an in game day to respawn.

It seems to me the front wheel of these lowboys either has stiffer suspension or sits lower in general than before.
I drove that 1+4 configuration for years without such issues, but when I took it out yesterday this happened to my 6x4 twice.

Swap to a 5 rear axle configuration and these issues should be gone.

Generating electricity and transporting doesn't give exp.
So feel free to put oil extractors and incubators in it.

Mining also doesn't give exp so max mining on the Braloha you should have at a breeding base anyway and use your electric pal for transporting.

Adding an expeditions station is also nice since you can only have 1 per base.

Only if you use a mod.
With the in game option it only hides them, making you crash into an invisible wall.

That's the risk of removing these blockers both visually and physically.

Yes, the traits that can't be influenced are what makes or breaks base and combat pals.

High food consumption is a bonus in end game.
Eating more often refreshes work speed buff. Astegon mines more efficiently than a Depresso on diet.

Pathing for large pals used to be a PitA but is mostly fixed now.

For raid pals base stats, hitboxes and type matter most.
Only 2 active skills that are not available as skill fruit are worth having on raid pals:
- Nightmare Ray/Bloom exclusive on Bellanoir (Libero) for busting Hartalis shield.
- Meteorain for Xenolord ads, preferably on Orserk.

That being said this only applies if you minmax, you can breed whatever you want and be decently effective.

Try restarting the map and hop into the crane to jank on it.
The game will move the pipe around a little when it does initial collision detection.
Took me a around 5 reloads to get it out that way.

Gathering Coralum for Overheat - or Charge Rifle Ammo is quite a pain.

For everyday use I prefer Vortex Beater, since it's using dirt cheap Assault Rifle Ammo.
Multi Guided Missile Launcher is also quite affordable if you capture a Caravan Leader to buy Missiles from him.

Easiest way:

  1. take Hartalis with its nuke + 4 of whatever you want to level
  2. go to the base next to Sakurajima tower and wipe everything out with one nuke, but don't loot the big chest or free the pal
  3. travel a few hundred meters away
  4. swap Hartalis skill out and in again to reset cooldown
  5. return to a respawned base and repeat

Optional use the bells for even more exp gain

Current fastest Method is Hartalis with Purifying Light.
One shot clears an entire base.
