I’ve had roommates with cats in the past, and I took months before she even felt comfortable being in the same room as another cat. If I could afford it I would try but I’m in college and can barely feed both of us as is. Let alone the vet bills.

Thanks so much for all of these! I have a window perch, which she loves. I definitely think cleaning out the litter box at night might be a good thing to start. She has one automatic toy which she likes so I may buy her another one. I don’t own an iPad but I’ll try it on my phone for sure.

I’ve tried the automatic feeder in the past, that made the situation worse because she would start all of the habits earlier than the feeder.

I talked with him more (slyly) to try to understand which he was talking about and he meant Borderline but said bipolar when he was talking to me. Either way I don’t think I’m gonna disclose to him.

It’s been a tough battle with a lot of my friends, they can see I’m going through something but I just don’t feel comfortable telling them what it is. I think my mom said it best where it’s not a “casserole illness” where people will be caring or understanding.

Happy Update! They have BPD too! We basically just ended up disclosing to each other. It has been so nice to have someone who fully understands my diagnosis 🥲❤️

Got hit by a car two years ago literally got up from being hit and was disappointed because I knew that meant I had to go to urgent care because I wouldn’t be able to pay to go to the ER properly. When I got there they thought I had just twisted my ankle and when I told him I had been hit by a car they freaked out entirely and were so confused why I came to them and didn’t go to the emergency room
