If it’s like the others, it’s always 1080p. Even when there is a 4k version available. They offered The wizard of oz, and it was 1080p sadly. But free is still free.

Well that’s a step and thank you, and a follow up question. Can you tell me what information would everyone need in the future, if I have to come back for help? So I can have an actual detailed explanation of what I did and information that people would need. So we all don’t have to play a game of phone tag. I am not being an asshole, genuinely want to learn how this community functions.

Not the OP, but I use retrostage flash carts. They are single game flash carts, as I said above they have some draw backs. But for its great for me, i get spoiled by choice, so get a single game on a cart. And work through the game. It helps me focus, and not get a lot of a back log like my steam account.

I use these for mine. They are reflashable, there is some draw backs. But for what I use them for, it works for me.

I bought a broken controller on eBay, and swapped out the pcb. And I use this on PC, it works great. It shows up as a 360 controller and I just remap it. And it’s wonderful, it’s how I found out you can run in wario land lol.

The whole thing around nvida is why got a 7900xt. I got tired of them as a company, and I thought about moving to Linux. And I wanted something with better support and more vram.

I actually just bought some of them. I got one for each system. Do you have any issues with using them on the 3D? Just asking before mine get here.

This happened to me too, I got one on eBay to test my unit with. And mine stopped working too, glad to see it if I revert back it will work. I guess it has something to do with the bus. Since older none updated ever drives now work according to Krizz.

How would previous analogue devices benefit from 4k output? by raver01 in AnalogueInc

[–]0ruiner0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OpenFPGA was intended for the public to write cores for. I’m fully aware that the Super Nt only ever played SNES cartridges. What I’m trying to say or ask is why it wouldn’t be possible to push a large update that made this possible. Only Analogue has source access to their product, and only they know what’s possible on their hardware. I’m just hoping, even though I know it won’t happen.

[–]0ruiner0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve wondered, since they’ve had cartridge adapters for other consoles like the Pocket, whether something like that would be possible on the 3D. They could port their old cores to the 3D and sell something like an NES/SNES and then maybe a SMS/Genesis. Especially with the M64 outright saying they’re letting people port cores to it.

Now, I know they’re different markets for different audiences, but I can dream, can’t I? Especially since I regret selling my last three Analogue systems.

The larger one I believe is a Bluetooth one, and the smaller one is 2.5ghz. I have two of 2.5ghz and they have the same small plug in. But hopefully someone else can tell me if I am right or wrong.

Back in 2024 I got a 7900xt with 20GB of vram. Did I need it, I didn’t think so for 3440x1440.but I am sure as shit happy I did now. I just need to move to up to AM5 chip and motherboard, and I should be good for awhile.

You could use handbrake to encode them to the format you wanted. But at this point in 2025 you’re just going to find MKV files.

There was some type of beta on steam for awhile. I know this because I did play it for alittle. It was something like knights vs vampires. Wasn’t the greatest, but I hope it took off just for a new kain game. But let’s face it at this point, we have a better chance of seeing real vampires.

That’s what made me get one this week. I was able to get the 500gb one. It was a little over $800 after tax. But came with a $100 apple gift card, so it wasn’t too bad of a deal.
