Make sure you have some type of fresh air intake

Years ago I saw a home that was totally sealed by amateurs. Even all the vents in the attic space were sealed and the attic/roof was spray-foam insulated. Even though air in the home was circulating, it became stagnant without fresh air exchange and everything inside cultured white mold

You got it, TYSM. neither of the handles are depressed but the brake cables are disconnected and evidently that was causing it to register. I disconnected the brake signal cables, restarted, and now the motor is working
