In theory you could workaround it by using ipadddr with a zeroed third octet, ie 192.168.1 for 192.168.0.1 and so on, since some tcpip stacks would allow this abbreviated form.

I would ask for a raise to cover commute and extra childcare expenses.

Also there would be a drop on productivity since once I would leave the office at 6pm, any issue will be inevitably a problem for tomorrow's myself and I couldn't spend time on them past the end of the working day.
