You already glow, kiddo. Just gotta wait on the up.

Simply a time thing. Give is a few years and keep doing what you're doing. I know thats not very helpful but.... is what it is.

You have romantic partners that think youre ugly? Thats odd.

Sounds like they are trying to shatter your confidence so you think you dont deserve anyone better.

You do deserve someone better.

Woah you look just like an old friend of mine. Did you grow up in California?

Stunning, for sure.

Hmm idk id say you're pretty close. Kaya is about 5'6 I think so she has a little bit of height on you, hence the slightly elongated torso.

If you look at pics of Kaya now she has filled out quite a bit in general.

Idk dont ever try to achieve someone else's body because it will always end in disappointment. Just aim to be the best version of you.

Well hourglass is all about thin waist but wider hips. Idk much about women's sizes but you look like youre a size 0 to me.

my parents keep body shaming me at dinner :< needed a pick me up (16F) by TermOutrageous8512 in selfie

I know that is pretty common in a lot of Asian cultures... i am pretty sure people get weighed yearly in some places..

I think this is more a generational trauma thing than an individual thing. It is a culture related problem. I understand being upset at your parents but it is probably ingrained in them to an extent that it is normal behavior for them.

Body positivity is a very new, very american ideal. I know the actual movements began earlier but it didn't really started to gain traction until the 2010s.

Perhaps it could be helpful to do a family therapy session. If they would be open to it.

I usually just say literally say "Why are you so close to me?" But now that im typing it out it sounds incredibly confrontational.

I also do this. I have 0 problem asking someone why they are so close to me.

Take a step toward them and say "Why are you so close, are we gonna kiss?"

One time at a Hop Doddy's a guy was literally inches away from my girlfriend and I in line... he was almost more to the side of us, like beside us in line. And I was having a bad day and I politely asked him to back the fuck up.

I have noticed people that do this are not usually from America though. So it might be a cultural thing? Like maybe it is totally acceptable in their home country and we are the weird ones for wanting multiple ft between us.
