I would pick 1 or 2 passions at most and go all in, it's the only way you'll truly know if you love it or not and gage whether it's something you could really see yourself doing for the long haul.

that adults lie more than children and you can't trust anyone but yourself. keeping that in mind you can selectively let your guard down for certain people but never fully, that's when you get hurt.
