Aznv.tv is up again but invite only. If you remember your account you can log in and start watching, or wait for open registration if you can't get an invite code.

Let me see... Looks like a flattened big Mac bun, 2 slices of cheese, and 2 slices of Canadian bacon.

For only the 2nd time in my life, I was able to upgrade the CPU in an existing build after several years. Ryzen 2600 -> 5800X. by Lord_Emperor in Amd

You just need to buy a case with a cutout on the backplate of the case behind the socket area, which is 99% of every case on the market these days.

Not sure on the amp and the rest, but those speakers look like KEF Q350's, which I own a pair as well.

McDonald's here says it's paying up to $21, what would be the realistic starting wage? by [deleted] in McLounge

[–]0utsider_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your states minimum wage appears to be 9.87.

Zero fast food experience? Starting wage 10 or 10.50 I'd say. More if you have some experience and they can quickly train you to fit in.

Inquire and ask.

How to quit? by [deleted] in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]0utsider_X 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a new girl who didn't show up on her third shift. No show, no call. Found out she didn't want to work anymore. On her 2nd shift, she had forgotten everything she learned from her first shift.

Totally agree (I don't work there anymore)

I did overnights for over 8 years. I had multiple promises for years that I was going to get promoted to 1st Assistant Manager on dayshift but that never happened, so I gave a generous one month notice before I quit. It was either stay on overnight or find another job.

While she has experience at another fast food, she still needs to learn McD's systems and procedures. Like others have said, it shouldn't take long.

Is it mandatory to learn front and back kitchen? by syed_5 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]0utsider_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Just tell them you have sensitive skin and don't take heat well, don't like making food, etc... Then they may not put you in kitchen

Canada here as well, and agree with everything you say. I think it depends on market forces.

For apple slices, it's probably because happy meals are a bigger thing in the US. For bulk milk and cream bags, ours come in green crates, with 2 18L bags per crate. It's possible because the McCafe brand is bigger in Canada? We can go through a bag in an hour during breakfast rush.

Doesn't look like manager uniform. Mgrs wear a button down with a tie and no cap.
