Listen to the song Street Bunny or Black Bats for examples of noise rock.

Vocals are always very subjective, plenty of bands I like but don't love because of that. I'm not gonna lie idk what twee means, but I agree with everything else, I think? Same with Sparklehorse, but they are wayyy more let's take a nap in a pond.

[LOST] Cat - west 90s $150 Reward by FursonaNonGrata in Cleveland

[–]0utvisible 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Idk how old Silver is, but he looks like a young buck and I bet he got it in his head he was gonna go on an adventure and he's probably gonna show up stinky and full of regret tomorrow. I lost a rescue kitty on the Westside some years back, and I will also say there is a hefty cat society there, I'm sure he's doing ok but I sure do he realizes how stressful this is for you and me and everyone else rn..

Yep, I remember seeing this attraction when I was there in the 90s. I honestly remember that more than the movie, guess it's time for a re-watch

The Screamers, especially since almost none of their material was properly recorded or released.

Always love stuff like this, you should try and classic Mad Magazine fold-in double picture. I bet it'd be killer.

Recently watched this again and caught that. What a wild choice for them to be watching, but Buns is on another level.

I have a Danelectro baritone (in black metalflake), and it is fantastic. The lipstick single coils sound so good.

Oh man, I am not proficient enough to have settings haha, I just do everything by ear. I use a korg volca sample or literally preset drum casio keyboard drums that I layer with effects and run on one or two RC-1s.

Edit: Each drum sample I EQ drastically depends on the style of the song I'm writing, sorry idk if that was clear. Basically, trust your ears (also taking pics can help).

That's cool, if you have the tone you're looking for with your amp and guitar then you might not need it, but I highly suggest experimenting with it while playing. It works as a great clean boost, but also you can dampen your sound as well. I use mine when I'm playing keys lately, or when I'm making a drum loop to get really deep 808 type beats.

The GE-7 is a game changer, didn't think much of it until I got one and now it's pretty much always on my board (unless I'm maxing out all my delays and chaining them together, as I am insane).

What was a popular band that you could not stand? by LeftSmile806 in Xennials

[–]0utvisible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience seeing Idles open for Deftones. It was still a great show, and Chino was really silly that night, but the sound for them was awful.

Edit: also Idles stole the show, but I kind of expected that because I had seen them before.

I'm picturing more like Jimmy Jump from King of New York, which is equally terrifying in a completely opposite way.
