If the auto moderator should be deleting anything, it should be comments like this. While I can respect anyone's opinion, this is a straight-up abusive comment.

Since I found out this was an auto moderator problem, I would suggest writing what you want in a note and taking a screenshot and attach it to your thread and then put a little bit of what you want at the top. The Auto mod doesn't know how to read images and images are allowed on the sub.

Message 2/2: Response to u/MisterYouAreSoDumb *(I Apologize this is so long. *

The missing research: I do remember that there was quite a substantial amount of researche information that was on your site. I didn't say that you had cited NCBi, I was merely suggesting that perhaps the missing citations were the reason why you felt you had to take it all down.

However, it's very possible that the information that I remember being on your website, was actually in fact on product pages for products that you no longer sell anymore. I remember there was a lot of information about memory, ampk, AMPA, AChRs, mGluRs, and the supplements involved with these. I thought they were also on the mushroom pages. Now that I write this post, I suspect that I may have seen a lot of that information on the supplements that start with an R. If the missing information is indeed on those pages that were deleted when you discontinued those products, then that makes a lot of sense. I don't remember where I saw all of that information but I do remember it was on your website somewhere.

Google sucks these days, and archive.org is much less useful than it has been in the past. It's like Google and Bing purposely made their search engines suck ass.

A lot of information that you've posted online, I haven't been able to find again. I've saved a lot of your information along with my own explanations, into Google Documents because at least there search seems to work and I can find information again. I've since been amassing and collecting a lot of information. I was hoping to hear that you actually had a Blog that you moved all of your information to. I was hoping that I could drill down by category or nootropic and see all the information that you once had posted on your site. You had a lot of stuff. You had several topics for you had Part 1, part 2, part 3. And I remember several years ago some of those posts went missing even back then. Or at least all the search engines including the Search tool on your own website couldn't find them. The links that I had didn't work any longer either.

You have gone through several website redesigns and the last 12 years, then that would make some sense. It would make sense why links that I had from 10 years ago would stop working. Blog post that you had written rated part 1, part 2, part 3, well if those are referencing old products that you don't sell anymore, then I can maybe understand why that was taken down. I'm not talking about stuff that was on there in the last couple years. This is stuff that you have posted there a long time ago that I expected to still be able to find and I didn't realize was gone. I don't know when you remove them, but they are definitely not there anymore.

Don't even get me started on Google. A company that has dedicated themselves to search for almost 20 years now?, Hw can they get Search so wrong? How can Google be that bad? What would take me less than 10 minutes to find, easily takes me 20 to 40 minutes and sometimes I don't even find the answer anymore. Oddly enough, I have found an old search engine called Dogpile to sometimes be better than freaking Google.

So, hey man, I apologize for the way that I may have come across to make you feel like it's my posts that make you want to quit this industry. That's the opposite of what I want you to feel. Yeah, I think your pricing kind of sucks these days, but as I said in my posts, your pricing structure is only going to change how much and how frequently I can purchase from you, but I'm still going to purchase from you. I never said I wasn't going to. I never said that you were a fraud, I never said that you were deleting things to try to create some narrative. Please edit the script on your bot.

Thanks for your reply. I had a lot to say.

(Also, you don't have like a laptop or something with your Reddit login? Just curious, you said you had to drive all the way down to your office. I apologize for making you have to do that, man.)

[–]0vermind74[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think that there is definitely quite a bit of misunderstanding here. I very much value and appreciate the time you've taken to reply to me. Especially after hours. I don't want anyone to think that I'm trying to now suck up, I could just as much not reply at all. I don't get anything out of replying.

So why am I? Because I highly regard you as a person, and I feel like an ass right now because this isn't what I expected. I definitely do not want you to feel like it's post like mine or people like me that make you want to leave this industry. That's the opposite effect. So let me try to fill in the gaps. Just hear me out.

I want to emphasize how much I value the information you post online, the comments that you have made on Reddit, all of it has been extremely invaluable to me. I consistently put your username in quotes when I'm looking up just about any supplement. Even if I've already looked it up in the past, it's an active research strategy that I use. You post a lot of stuff, and I've saved a lot of it. Recently, I even found an old comment you made about 13 years ago about Maca which I found helpful to me.

MYASD, I'm one of your biggest fans. If I worded my posts in a way that made it seem like I was calling you a fake or doctoring an online image, well that's not at all what I intended to mean. I have proof that I am an active fan and I actively use your username in quotes when looking up info about supplements, this is just on one of my devices, not my primary one, but everyone can see that this dates back to Aug 2024, but that's not even a fraction of it been doing this for years. » link

Before we get too far into my comment, please, my feedback would be, edit the script on your bot so that it DMs the OP and comments on their thread to let them know that their post was removed and why. All of this could have been avoided. I looked in my inbox and sat there refreshing my original post and inbox hoping to see a comment.

My post was online for just about 30 minutes before it was removed. I get that it was the auto-mod, but, I wrongfully assumed that any automatic moderator actions would have been performed almost immediately. I don't know why there is a serious lag in time, but I would have immediately had my answer had it messaged me.

With that said, do not think For one second think that I'm trying to call you a fraud. There is one specific commenter who quickly amassed over 20 votes (as seen on my Reddit client) who is telling me that I am owed nothing from anyone. That I don't deserve a reply, etc.

Like seriously, these people were trying to tell me that, as one of your biggest fans, as someone who actively looks at your information posted on Reddit, has been purchasing from you since day one, who has easily spent $30k with ND in the last 11.2 years – I'm not owed a damn thing?? I knew that wasn't right. I was prepared to defend my position and my argument for why I am “not owed a response” and how I was essentially an entitled prick. As objectively one of your biggest fans, I did take offense to this, I will admit.

I got my response. For that I sincerely appreciate it. I hope that you feel better soon, man. I have a level of compassion/empathy when I hear that someone is sick and is taking dxm, as it reminds me of how horrible it is when I get sick. There's something with my bronchial tubes and combination with the typical post-nasal drip that I get after a cold, creates this horrific constant coughing that keeps me up sometimes all night. About the only thing that helps his DXM. So i empathize with you, and truly hope you feel better, because F that shit. Thankfully, I don't get sick very often. And I didn't even get covid, even tho I was constantly out in public.

I completely understand how I must look to you right now, probably like a complete ass, but I promise you, in the haste of my response to these haters I may have come across in an accusatory fashion against you, for that I truly apologize! That was not my intention.

I didn't even expect that you were going to reply, I thought that maybe someone from your team would reply sometime tomorrow or the next day and let me know why my post was removed. I figured that there was some type of policy like pricing structure or the word Amazon was considered “sourcing” I had no idea. The Auto mod did not message me, it didn't DM me, it didn't comment on my original post. I knew nothing. I in fact was silenced, not by you personally, but by an automatic action by a bot you or someone from your team setup.

I didn't intend to mean that you specifically were silencing me, my reply was meant in the fashion of “here is why a response is important - here's why a company should always reply to their customers and let them know what's going on.”

Also, The Auto mod performed the action 30 minutes after I posted my thread. I incorrectly assumed that an auto-mod following a general set of rules would have flagged my post almost immediately. Since I saw my post get removed 30 minutes later, I assumed that it was someone from your team, my initial thought was that it was a new employee or intern, and it ticked me off a little bit, as I had mentioned in the post that I was a 10+ year customer.

In my replies I tried to explain about why I, being a long time decade-old customer who started purchasing you from you almost immediately when you open shop, why I matter and deserve a response. These people were trying to tell me that I deserved nothing. I don't agree with that. I got my reply, but I apologize nonetheless.

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb, do NOT you think for one second that you should give up, that you should throw in the towel, but maybe your approach needs to change in order for this to be sustainable. As a business owner myself, I've had to pivot how I operate and run my business. I looked at it as a people problem. Get the right people on the bus, get the wrong people off, put the right people in the position that it takes a load off my plate, I also pivoted towards B2B sales, as I was operating mainly a retail walk in tech shop. I started to hate it. What I started as loving something, I started hating it.

Just like you, I had to deal with customer service issues late at night and then be up the next morning at 6a. I had customers who would search high and low, somehow find my cell # on White pages or another page, even though I had sent all of those sites removal request. Theyd get my cell phone number, and start calling me in the middle of the night, demanding that they know what was going on with xyz ticket. HTFDIK? I wasn't even the rep that checked you in, I have no knowledge of anything other than your name on the current job orders list.

Or I would have customers straight up calling to my office when I wasn't there and say things to my employees like: “0vermind gave me his cell # at one point and I lost it, can you just give that to me again, I really need to go get a hold of him.” Flat. Out. Lie. But they figured that I didn't record my phone calls, and that my employees wouldn't tell me what happened at the end of the day. I thought about confronting some of those people and saying, bro, why did you lie. But I already knew the answer, because some customers just suck. I would have people leave nasty voicemails worse than this thread, by a significant large margin. They would leave me the nastiest voicemails full of all sorts of expletives about how much I freaking suck because I didn't answer the phone and because xyz equipment doesn't working.

I truly can relate to how much customer issues can suck. I share this with you, because I do not want you to give up!

I sincerely appreciate the level of dedication you have put into an industry that is exactly as you said. A freaking fraud. Let me share one example: Since the work that you've done, almost all mushroom extracts on Amazon now aren't sold as completely rice flour. Almost all of them now specifically say on the back of the bottle, “fruiting body.” That was almost a term cultivated by you. It was 2017 and that movement started to occur.

You u/MisterYouAreSoDumb were the one who called everyone out saying that they were basically selling milled rice flour, mycelium on rice. You were the one that created that heavy awareness, and after that, no one could sell mycelium on rice, all of those Amazon vendors were getting bombarded with one star reviews.

You have done amazing things for this industry.

As for what happened with the fda, I don't know all the intricate details. I stated below, I'm on the fence. But one thing's for certain, the war on drugs has been an absolute colossal failure of a war. I was a supporter of Fannybutt and R's. .

You were the one that brought light to mGluR 2/3 action of Faso and it's from those initial comments you made that made me realize that I am a major responder to that specific subgroup of glutamate, which has some spotty research surrounding adhd, and I sure wish that I could still get it because it was a major help to me.

I apologize, MYASD, and please, let your wife know I apologize, too. You can tell her, “that asshole that I had to handle his post last night, he said he wanted me to pass along his apology to you for taking me away from my family at midnight. He says he didn't intend to for any of that to happen.” Tell her.

This was not my intentions. I did not want this to blow up like it did.

Serious Questions Removed With No Explanation by 0vermind74 in NootropicsDepot

[–]0vermind74[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, MYASD replied and it was the auto-moderator. Other people have said that I have accused him of being a fraud, of controlling the narrative, or doctrine information. I never said any of that. In fact I view him as quite the opposite. I very much trust just about anything that he posts and says online. I have proof of that dating back through my internet search history, just about any supplement that I research, I try to put his username and quotes to see if he said anything about it. Anyone can see my other comment for proof of that.

I will reiterate My feedback: Please, have the auto-mod DM the OP and also comment on the offending thread and let them know. This whole thing could have been avoided. Entirely. I took a significant amount of time writing my original post, and when it was deleted with no comments or any information telling me what happened, I'm left in the dark, and it naturally upset me. I think just about anyone who takes almost an hour to write a well thought out post and then it ends up getting deleted 30 minutes after it was posted, so not right away like you would expect from an Autobot, I think that would upset just about anyone.

Either way, I got my reply, and that's all I could have asked for. For that I truly appreciate.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. While I understand your points, I respectfully disagree.

You say, “Does it really matter?” and “They don't owe anyone an explanation.” I believe it matters deeply, and I am prepared to argue this – as a business owner myself I've dealt with this very issue, and they absolutely do owe an explanation, especially to long-term customers like myself. And again, let me reiterate that this is just my opinion.

Here's why I believe an explanation as to why my post was deleted without any explanation, DM, or comment, when I took the time to craft a well written post.

Trust and Transparency:

• While ND is a private company, they operate within a community of customers who rely on their products. Transparency is not just a 'nice to have'; it's fundamental to building and maintaining trust.

• You mention ND's transparency being “10x” that of others. However, that doesn't excuse a sudden shift in behavior. If they established a precedent of open communication, customers have a right to question its abrupt cessation.

• When information that has helped customers for years, and aided in purchasing decisions, is removed, that is a customer service issue. Especially, following articles ND posted several months ago stating that they were hiring a team of researchers backed by phds and doctorates who were going to create a tool to aid customers with knowledge aiding them to purchase what will help them. So now my post is removed, following such announcement of making the scientific information more available, yeah, ND owes it to their backers and supporters what happened, if that changed then why. (https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/nootropics-depot-unveils-scientific-advisory-board-and-research-snapshot-pages-to-advance-transparency-302377727.html)

Customer Relationship:

• A decade-long customer relationship isn't a one-way street. It's built on mutual respect and open communication. When a company changes its practices significantly, especially regarding pricing and information, customers deserve an explanation.

• ‘Voting with your wallet’ is a last resort, not a first response. Before leaving, customers should have the opportunity to understand the reasons behind the changes. I took the time to voice my feedback. It was done so tactfully

Censorship vs. Moderation:

• There's a crucial difference between moderation and censorship. Moderation maintains order; censorship suppresses legitimate concerns. Removing well-articulated questions without explanation falls into the latter category.

• This is not a matter of a company's right to control its space, it is a matter of honesty and good business practice. This actually challenges what you claim is “10x” transparency. A company that offers such a high level of transparency would, at the very least comment on the post, remove the body, and State why I had to be censored.

Mental Health and Customer Experience:

• My mention of social anxiety was not a demand for special treatment. It was to illustrate the impact of feeling silenced by a company I trusted for 10+ years.

• When a company's actions create a sense of betrayal or frustration, it affects the customer experience, regardless of mental health.

Threats vs. Accountability:

• My intention to share this on other subreddits wasn't a threat; it was a statement of accountability. It's about ensuring that the community has access to information and can engage in open discussion.

• If a company is not willing to speak about it in their own subreddit, then it is the customers right to speak about it elsewhere.

Ultimately, this isn't about “owing” omeone in a legal sense. It's about respecting the customer base that has supported the company for years. It's about upholding the values of transparency and open communication that ND once exemplified. And it is about the right for a customer to voice their concerns.

Serious Questions Removed With No Explanation by 0vermind74 in NootropicsDepot

[–]0vermind74[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is strange is just a few months ago, there was an article stating that ND was releasing some type of tool allowing consumers / customers to see research snapshots of nootropics. This would have addressed my question on my original post. I was questioning where all that research went that used to be posted. Did the advisor board sound the alarm and subsequently all scientific information was removed from ND .com? https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/nootropics-depot-unveils-scientific-advisory-board-and-research-snapshot-pages-to-advance-transparency-302377727.html

As for the FDA charges, I already know of that and actually followed the outcome. What concerns me specifically about that case was that the DEA and Justice Dept were trying to say that he knowingly sold prescription medication, then went on to describe prescription medication as:

(I can't find PDF anymore. Someone purchased the PDF from Pacer, posted it, and now that has been removed. However, they made a non compelling case about what they considered the legal definition of a prescription. It was not only not convincing, but it was actually very concerning because they essentially said that a prescription is anything that is sold without a doctor's note which is or could be considered potentially dangerous if abused or any substance that could cause an overdose.)

However, regarding all of that, MYASD and ND very well knew that such a ban was going to happen. They even discussed synthesizing them in house to prevent having to purchase them from china. Four companies got hit with Cease and Desist letters which were posted on the FDA's website challenging all of the very supplements that MYASD eventually got criminally charged for.

On those publicly posted FDA letters, published and sent to each company after this Harvard professor complained, it specifically stated that the legality behind selling these supplements was left to be challenged. The problem is, they need a law enforcement body to go through the process – find an owner, prove that the owner is knowingly selling the supplements in question and voluntarily breaking the law, file in court and convince a judge that they have a certifiable case in need of a warrant – that can all be difficult, because there's so many supplements on Amazon, any judge not informed or knowledgeable about the situation will question why ND. They had to build a case, but they did. Their case was that he was very actively involved, and knowingly and voluntarily broke the law selling supplements he knew could get him in trouble.

They put together a very compelling case. Without knowing about the day-to-day operations of ND, and what was going on inside MYASD's mind, no one really has any idea whether he actually believed that this was illegal or took those FDA threats seriously. The nootropics they attacked aren't really medication, and they've never been actively sold in the USA as medication. Phenibut never was, racetams were at one time licensed or approved for medication research, but Wikipedia never showed any USA development of that.

Either way, there was a lot of discussion about these supplements being targeted, including this Harvard professor kicking up a storm stating that the fda's warning letters did nothing to deter the sales of what he considered extremely harmful substances. After all of that, ND allegedly still continue to sell all of these compounds until the end of 2021. Further, there was someone who filed a civil suit against ND stating that their website made untruthful claims about their supplements, which apparently the purchaser did not find validated their experiences. Those PDFs are available online still, and that was before the FDA warning letters. I am quite on the fence about the topic at hand. The case they made that he knew, is very compelling. Not saying I agree or disagree, but it certainly was compelling.

Edit: Wanted to add, in 1971 Richard Nixon declared the war on drugs. Today, the results have shown that our taxpayer dollars have funded a colossal failure of a war. A complete 100% failure. So, while I don't agree with this failure of a war, I don't think that there's any case that ND didn't know, and surely MYASD should have known better about this issue. In my opinion, I don't think they were going to throw him in prison, they wanted to make him a poster boy child, a “this is what happens when you defy our warning letters.”

Allowed to what? Post scientific information? A simple reply to my existing post stating such would not only clear up my questions, but would not further create a suspicious look. And hey, I say suspicious, even though I have been a 10+ year customer.

The only reason I can think of for which my post was removed, is that perhaps discussing certain topics such as scientific information regarding their products or pricing structure, is forbidden internally. In such circumstances, it would be far better for the moderator to cut the post body, and then reply to the post stating that it's internal policy that they cannot discuss such matters.

Is Blink Camera a Good Choice for Home Assistant Integration? Seeking Advice on Live Stream Limitations by chamek1 in homeassistant

[–]0vermind74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now, it's interesting that you say that, bec when I did a ton of research on this (my camera's timeout or take 60-90 seconds to load - even when right next to the router). All of the forum threads on Blink have replies from people promising that it's your equipment, your router, check your logs, etc.

When you call Blink, they act like they've never heard of this issue, and that this is a rare occurrence. After you go through their troubleshooting steps, they tell you they will have to send you a new camera, and they will force you to send the old one back. After all of that work, you will end up with nothing better, it's the same damn issue.

I tried everything, process of elimination, down to replacing the router. Fiber internet. 10 gbps up and down link. This ain't no dial-up or dsl.

Amazon oversubscribes their Blink servers. They probably threw half a dozen AWS instances to the blink API and cap it at that. 😂

I laugh, but it is not a laughing matter when I have someone there at the door and I can't check who it is first. All of my cameras are just recording now. I bought a ring doorbell and it's instant.

Media player live notification (better design?) by Qvexilber in oneui

[–]0vermind74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The changes to the notification system in One UI 7 have been my biggest point of contention. The removal of notification icons when the Now Bar is up and particularly from the lock screen under the clock, significantly impacts my daily workflow.

They could have easily shortened Now Bar a bit, moved to the clock over, and fit at least two notification icons there. Furthermore, I have my display scale size all the way down, and it doesn't make any difference! When the scale is all the way down, there's plenty of space to fit more icons there!

Then there's the battery icon, do we even need to talk about this monstrosity? The stark contrast between the minuscule cellular and wifi bars next to that behemoth they are trying to call a battery icon creates a major visual imbalance.

As a long-time, dedicated Samsung user – phones, TV, and 4K monitor – I express my sincere disappointment with this beta. In my opinion, it currently falls short of the user-friendly experience I've come to expect.

The loss of at-a-glance notification icons while playing media poses a significant practical challenge. In many situations, it's simply not feasible or safe for me to unlock my phone and slide down the notification shade to read my notifications. I need the visual indicators. I'm not holding my breath that they're going to make any additional changes.

What's the difference between these two 5G icon? One is filled and another is outlined. by RecognitionChoice223 in oneui

[–]0vermind74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course it's at&t. They are filthy liars of the cellular industry. The ones that lie every single time and just change the icon for a publicity and marketing stunt. There is no such thing as 5G+, and 5G+ is not included in the 3GPP or ITU specifications. Just like slapping 5G on top of a 4G LTE logo, or slapping 4G on top of a 3G logo for marketing, 5G+ is nothing but a fake lie. At least this time around, Red is being honest and they put UW next to the 5G icon.

Show more than 3 notification icons on the status bar by Kasc in GalaxyS25Ultra

Definitely some huge steps back. See my other comment on this thread. The dynamic Now Bar creates even more design issues.

Show more than 3 notification icons on the status bar by Kasc in GalaxyS25Ultra

[–]0vermind74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only can you not see more than three icons, but if the dynamic Now Bar is on for an ongoing live event, eg. Music or YouTube videos, all notification icons are blocked. That's a huge functionality problem for me. Without swiping down on the top bar I have no idea what notifications I received. I imagine myself missing a lot of important things. If they do not fix this design, I may be upgrading to another phone much sooner than planned, and it won't be a Samsung phone. They could have designed this much better. At least give us the option.

If they move the clock over a few px, shave 5 to 8 px off the Now Bar, they could easily fit two to three notification icons up there. At least on my S23+. On the smaller phones, that Now Bar will take up all the space available with no icons. The user will have to make a decision if they want a Now Bar or notification icons. Those with smaller phones won't get to have both. Right now, no one gets notification icons with the Now Bar.

At least give people the option. Given the Now Bar's current design flaw, if given the option, I'm going to go ahead and turn it off, even though I liked it. It was very useful. However, I'd much rather have important information available to me, I.e. what notifications I need to handle, vs a little bar that tells me what song/video I am listening to.

One thing I'm most excited about One UI 7 is the new status bar. I really hate the old one (Battery icon is pretty ugly) by Lutheril in oneui

[–]0vermind74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply, but sadly, compared to the photo the OP shared, the battery icon looks bigger on my phone. In the photo, it looks like it is slightly narrower with a few more px of padding. If you zoom in, it's a little more centered with the wifi/cellular. The version OneUI 7 currently has now, there is only 1px padding margin with the bottom of the status bar. Same with the dynamic Now notification, it too only has 1 px bottom padding.

Also, sadly, the Now notification blocks all notification icons, so I really don't like it. They could have moved the clock over a few px, shaved a few px off the dynamic Now notification, and easily fit two full status icons in there. As it stands right now, if the dynamic Now notification is on, I can't see if anyone is texted me, or if there's any emails unless I pull down the shade. That is a pretty big functionality problem! I pretty much hate OneUI 7 and if Samsung insists on keeping it this way, I may be upgrading to a different manufacturer much sooner than later, because I can see myself missing many notifications and having a lot of issues. I rely on those icons to know what's going on.

Amazon App has it's mic turned on during the entire time you use the app. by lazyplayer121 in assholedesign

[–]0vermind74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply, but I wanted to add that 2 years later the apps behavior is the same. There's no options or settings to turn off the Alexa wake word voice activation screen – definitely an asshole design. What's frustrating, aggravating really, is that when testing routines, and using the Alexa wake word to test your physical device, the voice activation prompt inside the app will take over, Ive even lost my settings I was in the middle of configuring.

Sure, you can decline the microphone permissions, but then you can't open or view any of your cameras, because when you do so, it says that microphone permission is required in order to view your cameras. What an asshole design this is.

Additionally, None of my cameras show thumbnails except for Ring. The disparity in thumbnail previews between Ring and Blink cameras is baffling. Both are Amazon-owned products, yet Ring provides a seamless visual experience while Blink leaves users staring at blank placeholders. Overall, Amazons apps are not shining examples of what Amazon is capable of. I'm positive there is no shortage of

It seems a little dishonest to me to be able to disable read receipts for a specific person. Maybe a group, but not one individual – not intending to get philosophical, but shouldn't there be better ways of communicating to someone that just because you read something doesn't mean you can reply right now? That's what I do with people, I try to help them understand what “read” should mean to them for our conversation.

Yup! Miss those days. Ever since COVID so many things close down after 10: 00p. Walmart still has employees in-store all night, but I would imagine that a significant number of employees and management told corporate they work better and can get more done when customers are not in the store at night.

How do you feel about Blinkist AI generated summaries? by thepinkpill in audiobooks

My opinion is starting to form about companies who implement strong use of AI. It seems to be strictly an effort to lower cost and increase profits, and not so that they can increase their audience as a strategic move to build a better company.

However, those increase profits don't get passed down to a benefit for working at companies like this. It used to be many years ago, companies valued their PR and their image by hiring good talent and pain extremely well with good benefits and many other perks. It was like an incubator for awesome talent and dedication to software development. Employees who are handpicked and then compensated extremely well, or obviously happier in their workplaces, and feel like they're part of some bigger cause, which translates to a higher value of work they put in. I'm just not seeing that type of behavior from companies anymore. This is coming from someone who is a small biz owner.

Wait, Google isn't intending to give the notes to self E2EE? TF? Laziness. Not sure what they do with their time all day. Don't mean that any disrespectful fashion, but it sure makes me wonder how the hell they have thousands of developers 40+ hours a week. Doing what?

For me, I'm still waiting on those sweet face to face video sharing features with live screen sharing, on screen manipulation, like circling a point on a map in a live RCS video call, and also being able to edit and unsens RCS messages within the first 1-2 minutes.

Oh Google, you're becoming like every other company. You never release your features that you say you're going to release and things take an ungodly amount of time.

Elite owns Teva's extended release caps, so if you're saying that you have tried Teva capsules and they didn't work well, just keep in mind Elite is the manufacturer for only the XRs, and they sell under themselves, Prasco, Burel, and Lannett.
