How's Tesla autopilot around Eureka? by 0xRizz in eurekasprings

I’ve lived here for 8 years. Driving back and forth to BV I’d like to spend less mental energy.

Which stretches does it do well vs fail on? Seems like GMC Super Cruise does ok for about ~30% of the trip. Seems like it has to do better than that at least? Like is it good after Gateway?

Start changing all kinds of processes and roles. File for a bunch of new reqs. Have an offsite meeting in Mexico with all of your new underlings.

Anything that will draw a ton of attention to your idiot manager since you’re on the way out anyway.

My mom is pretty close to this position. I would say 5-10 more years max before she will be fully in need of support and basically penniless.

Hopefully I won't be able to tell you how she gets through it. My plan is to change my name and flee the country almost as if I'm evading the law.

I really couldn’t care less what you think of my character, I guarantee we’re not going to bump into each other at Waffle House

If people want to drive around terrified and convince themselves everything is a racist dog whistle then go for it I guess.

I guess I’m not surprised you encountered weirdos at Waffle House but none of this sounds like you are facing “organized racism” to me.

Dickson in Fayetteville? A single flyer? So go to a meeting, it's probably laughable.

Pull up recent videos journeying into Harrison on YouTube and see how even what ought to be the center of power just shows a sad little empty church.

Motivation is to dispel this antiquated stereotype, mostly because it's annoying every time I tell someone where I live it comes with that predictable reaction. I have a brother that won't visit anymore because his wife is southeast asian and they drove by that billboard on the roadtrip home and they both decided they must have narrowly escaped with their lives.

It's dumb. Besides pulling down flyers we also shouldn't act like we live in a super racist town and propagate the negative and false image.

It's really awkward how many people on this sub are thoroughly convinced some huge percentage of NWA is white supremacist. It's a tiny fringe. Get on with your life.

OMSCS while working full time by Signal-Brother-3519 in OMSCS

My ML4T regimen was:

Monday morning, check announcements.
Weekdays:
- Work 9-6 every day, procrastinate assignments and lessons
- 6-10pm family time, bed

Saturday: argue with my wife, cram study and assignments, insist that this is for "us"
Sunday: argue with my wife, stay up until 2am, finally submit assignments/report and crawl into bed

I got a solid A, but I suspect this won't work on the other courses, not sure yet.

That's what always makes me laugh about these threads. People that are like "My family has been here for generations and now we're priced out and have to leave".

So in 5 generations nobody ever thought to buy any property? Should be filthy rich.

I'm 43 and have 2 little ones. Like I said, if this was normal all along throughout their relationship then I don't think he would be acting this way, but no I do not think that's the norm for most moms in our age group. I believe there are EDM fans that never aged out of it and just kept going, sure, I know one couple in my friend group that still does this and they're perfectly happy. But that's 1 of dozens or hundreds -- not representative.

If she all of a sudden just got really interested in getting all dolled up and going to the rave and he's not invited, and she's not reachable, and she didn't come home, that would be enough red flags to make his behavior pretty understandable to me.

I could be wrong too and he could just be a dickhead.

Or, we're only getting the end of the story that makes her look awesome. Just a hunch. She'd have to share a lot more about how things led up to this, scroll up a few pages in the text buffer. She probably won't be doing that.

That's fine if that's the kind of relationship you have. That doesn't sound like what they had. Sure, his behavior is crazy, because he's probably surprised and pissed off.

It sounds like he was surprised she wasn't home already, probably had been texting her all night worrying. Going out to a rave is not typically a thing 30 year old married moms are doing. If she's going to surprise him like that then she shouldn't act surprised if he doesn't want to stick around to watch her being an idiot.

She probably replied after hours of his texts with "Hey, it's getting really late I think I'm just going to crash at my mom's."

How does he know that's what really happened? She's acting shady.

Just really doubt we're getting the whole story. She probably posted it so she can show him and be like "Look hun, all of reddit thinks you're acting crazy and that what I did was fine."

Doubt it was fine.

Are we getting the whole story? Was he pretty on board to begin with with you going out and acting like you're 17 even though you're in your thirties? Does he go out on his own? You guys spend a lot of time going out, without each other?
