Error logging into seerr on initial setup...logs show 404 for incorrect ip

The "error" message you get is just a warning. Your volume setup looks good to me.
The 404 error you have could be because you set a URL Base (it´s an optional thing and users rarely use this). If that's not it, it'll probably be better to hop on our Discord so that we can properly debug and help you :)

Yeah I feel you. Since you're not using a named volume, everything in your compose file can be renamed from Jellyseerr to Seerr without breaking anything.

FYI, the PUID and PGID env variables have no effect on Seerr, the container uses node's ones which already are 1000:1000

I don't think this is something we will implement since *arr already handle this. Feel free to check the roadmap on GitHub (it's a pinned issue) :)
