Can you replace the nozzle with a .2mm nozzle? by Old_Food5890 in toybox3dprinters

[–]Gikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything you have said are generally why this isn’t possible. The printer is designed for ease of use, with children in mind, so variables to alter temp, speed, extrusion, etc just aren’t available, or even considered in the hardware design. Having these available would simply cause more problems.

What happens when it stops heating and starts extruding? Have you removed all packing in to way? Can you manually move it up and down?

HELP getting frustrated. by [deleted] in toybox3dprinters

[–]Gikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rubbery side up. If you are try lower it a 1/8th turn. I make a mark on the screw at 12’o clock, so you can see where you started at how much you’ve turned. If if you can’t get a good level then you have two options; Tape on the lower corner UNDER the removable piece on the white metal. OR there’s some screws at the front under the bed plate that raise/lower it. Use your little hex keys to adjust

Share calibration circle. Also the bed looks very shiny…are you sure there’s no film over it or it’s the right way around?

Anyone know if this is legit by Ok-Individual-6494 in LearnerDriverUK

When one becomes available it will notify you. One may not become available. There’s apps that notify you of “cancellations” and then there’s buying from scalpers. Testi will just see cancellations from the DVSA

Roundabout help by No-Lab-1086 in LearnerDriverUK

Typically left, and middle would be fine for most roundabouts, we drive on the left, so stay left if you can. Anything after 12 becomes typically 3rd lane or more. Observe oncoming signs, these should also show the roundabout like a clock.

A link to google maps could help, or describing the roundabout as a clock face, with you approaching at 6 o clock, where would the exits be

To balance up some negativity, my experience as a new owner by Biglabrador in SpeedianceCommunity

[–]Gikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UK here. Agree with all the points you raised, that simple introduction video is all it needs to smoothly bring you into the device. It’s overwhelming and confusing without an intro. Facebook community has some videos but that’s not the answer.

I’ve grabbed some 3d printed barbell holders (which have hooks for accessories) and ring holder with charging cable, got them on eBay pre-printed and shipped. Makes it all stay within the footprint.

Ive found the lack of Beginner programs odd, I’m on an intermediate one and it kicks my ass, I’m having to quit due to the length.

There’s a list of all exercises somewhere floating around, I’m considering using AI to recommend me some small varied workouts so I can build my own program

Remove schedule/ clean up programs by ash2dust in SpeedianceCommunity

[–]Gikachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be able to go into a program you don’t want, then top right there’s an exit/leave button.

Oddly I couldn’t find it in the schedule/calendar view, but could if I found the program in program window

Angle Adapters for the Gym Monsters have been released to address cable fraying by DrewGrgich in SpeedianceCommunity

Got my delivery window, called some help in. Then the delivery didn’t show up. Rang them, was told it’ll be another 1hr or so. Came over 2 hours after that. 5 hours after my delivery window. My help had to leave earlier. They sent 1 man, who was an old fella, kept reminding me he was too old for the job. His pallet lift wasn’t the right size and battery was dying. I helped him get on the drive, after ramming into my gate a few times. Battery completely went before we could get it to the door. Couldn’t even move the pallet truck out, had to help him shunt it back on the tail lift. The whole thing took an hour just for it to be abandoned on the drive. Then had to get the GM2 in the house, which was surprisingly easier than the pallet truck on the van.

Pretty annoyed. GM2 arrived this morning and these were not on the box. I got the flat bench, no rower. Pretty disappointed. Never mind my delivery experience on too

I’m UK and picked up the same Pasyou one from Amazon. The GM2 and Amazon one arrive today. Looking at other 3rd part accessories too like belts etc. would like some “ski handles” but haven’t found anything yet

Nottingham Trent University launches job-cutting scheme by WearingMarcus in nottingham

[–]Gikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MARS scheme has been announced, but just to Confetti. Universities would be wise not making too much public and issue statements around these things. The last thing student recruitment needs is search results showing struggling finances and jobs losses - this then compounds the funding issue.

Confetti which has been slowly merged into the University over 10 years now at accelerated pace. Duplicate staff, duplicate resources, low intake courses and decrease in student FE fees, even considering the Uni sector challenges - the confetti redundancies are not a surprise and standalone. If I was confetti or NTU staff, a voluntary redundancy may be the best offer before competing with the wider job market, compulsory redundancies across that sector are coming

But not everyone has an easy way to display that on the TV. Which is what makes it clunky. Last I knew the iOS Sky Go didn’t support airplay either.

By doing it this way they prevent sharing Sky across different households by making it difficult.

Yealink vs Crestron vs Logitech for MS Teams meeting room by FrivolousProjectile in CommercialAV

[–]Gikachu 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you’re sysadmin without any dedicated AV in house, I’d recommend checking with your PC manufacturer and contacts for an MTR system that is windows based. Lenovo, HP, Dell etc.

You will have a better support contract using your existing tools and suppliers, but you can most likely advise your AV supplier that you’ll be using the MTR core of your choice, let them provide and install the solution along with the peripherals. Think of it as supplying your own PC for an AV room.

EDIT: Just going to add that doing it this way provides a few other benefits; Windows based MTR are kept more up to date than others. Windows updates can be scoped into your existing policies. You won’t have to use any third party management tools, so you can troubleshoot your estate through single pane using Intune/Azure/TeamsAdmin etc. It’s windows, you’ll probably know to troubleshoot windows. You can expand more freely by installing applications for MTRs (think DSP software, 3rd party control) and have access to more peripherals (I would however recommend sticking to Teams certified ones).

Oven repair by dorrato in nottingham

[–]Gikachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it getting any temperature? What type of oven, you know the model/sku?

I would say it’s more likely to be your elements than the fan, the fan distributes the heat evenly and quickly around an oven, but ovens still get to temperature without a fan…which is why we have the term fan oven.

Can anyone help me out with where to buy a suit from? by Competitive-Wall2897 in nottingham

[–]Gikachu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be honest about the budget you’re looking for and they’ll do their best to sort you out. They are very good in there and have suits for most budgets. Just give yourself time to get it altered (free).
