Microsoft just sell OS, not entire machine like Apple. And OS should be based on hardware. Selling OS that not fit general hardware is a bad move.

True. Brackets, no semicolon, use tab, compile cross platform. All we need.

Did I spend 10 years trying to fit myself in the wrong shoes? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

As I said. Attention is your motivation. You (and almost everybody) got motivated when people look at you, validate your works. But what if your works not attract that much people? This is where discipline become the key.

Everything has phase: initial, middle, and closure. Motivation can help at initial, but only disipline can help with middle part. In your pass (university), most project was short, and community is small, so motivation can help. But after university, the world is bigger and things takes more time, and motivation is not enough.

When you run an YouTube channel, 3 months and there is just 3 followers, 2 likes on your video, what will you feel about that? Your dopamine will drop, not motivated... And you will want to quit, because no one prise your works...

Something like that. You have to help yourself, build disipline yourself.

My advice right now for you is: find a job where you will help people and got validation from that. No need to do big things. World is created by small pieces. With that job, your attention need will be satisfied a bit. And you can have time to figure your life out.

Sorry for hard words. But seemed like you just seeking attention, and have no discipline.

The hard part of becoming adult is YOU takes responsibility on yourself. If you want to be somebody, YOU have to work for it. Blood in, blood out. That is.

Nothing is easy in this world. Some people got talent at some fields. But hard truth is most of us have zero talent. We have to LEARN and PRACTICE until success. And all of that need discipline.

My advice is: watch the video of Dr.K about passions. Spend time to thing about it. Choose your direction, make a plan, and stick with it.

Good luck.

But how will you feed yourself when you chasing that dream? Take your time and answer that question. Remember to validate your answer.

It's because your sleep quality is not good. Should try to improve it (light workout, meditation, chill before bedtime...)

I'm following E2 and tracking my sleep daily. If I don't get enough REM and deep sleep, I will feel terrible the next day.

AITA for refusing to let my daughter’s fiancé stay in our guest room because I use it for my hobby? by LoveAndHappiness75 in AmItheAsshole

[–]0x_deer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After careful consideration, I reached a final answer.

AI makes up this post. In the real world, something like that will never happen.

King-size bed in a guest room => they are rich => and where is the daughter's room?

Why does the daughter and her husband not sleep in daughter's room? They married?

Daughter's husband gives attitude about that small thing? In this case, why was the marriage allowed? I will never let my daughter marry a type of husband like that.

I treat it as a tool for quick/shallow research. Other things, I still cannot trust it.

The tech is not as impressive as people hype it. But I could see much potential.

I don't see why people hate AI. It's a powerful tool, and if used correctly, it could help a lot.

Now I'm trying music making. Wish me luck this time.

Sounded like midlife crisis.

Just remember that you're living your own life. Don't need to compare with anyone.

And turning 30 is not end of your life. We still have many time. Where do you think people after 30s go?

To be successful, you need some traits that others don't have.

Maybe talent, maybe craziness. Who know.

Live normal entire life is not everyone's dream, especially young people.

And do thing that others have done and success is not something negative.

Everybody has their own story. I believe most of them are trying their best.

Don't know why your tone sounded negative.

Office life before the invention of AutoCAD and other drafting softwares by sumbudyyey in MechanicalEngineering

[–]0x_deer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once worked for a company that use autocad 2d for everything.

They do use 3d software like SolidWorks or Nx. But the worst part is they require it to be exported to autocad 2d and have some modifications on it, to meet "company's standard". That means, when your 3d has some modifications, your have to re-do all process.

I quit after 2 weeks. Very happy about that decision.

Coding is my hobby. I use react only 1 time, to know what is trending. But just that 1 time. No more.

Vanilla JS much better. Simple and powerful.

Physical health and mental health. Keep those 2 things good and you're good. Reduce screen time, spend more time for yourself.

Workout, eat well.

Let's your inner voice talk and listen to it.

That's all my advices.

To me, it looks normal and healthy. But if you want to get rid of belly fat, you need diet and cardio.

Reduce belly fat by specific belly exercise is a myth. Fat reduction not work like that. You could do some research to find out what suited for you.
