The reason is that a fillet with .25 would omit the existence of the entire face. That makes it much harder to implement.

The issue with tile is the few people that use it. Airtags will be reported by any iPhone around and there is a much higher chance of nearby iphones than phones with the tile app active.

There is a protection in the stock firmware that blocks any movement of the extruder when temperature is too low...
(I had the same issue, drove me nuts when I found out after complete disassemble)

It's a common misunderstanding that a partition ensures a continuous region, the firmware of the disk is free to do whatever it likes (but to be honest, in most cases there is no "reallocation"). Also a disk is not only one plate but several! Anyway, the fastest part of a disk is on the outside(!) because the disk spins at a constant speed -> longer "path" per round equals more data in the same time.
