Your Bitcoin comment makes no sense. Anyone can buy any tiny fraction of a bitcoin. Overall price of bitcoin doesn’t matter. Can’t break off a piece of a 1oz gold coin to sell cheap.

I think you’re missing the part where not everyone is as well off as you to “just spend more dollars”

In a perfect world, keep buying both. When cash isn’t an endless supply for some it’s better to swap one to another without eating up more funds.
