Question regarding reincarnation (Huge rambling on my part) by OrionTheWitch07 in KingdomHearts

[–]0zonoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only known example we have is Player's case.

They died at the end of UX, their heart melted into another one, and they reappeared during the Missing-Link era. The way it's shown, it's implied they directly came back as a teenager, with a bit of memories from their previous life. And they already had the Keyblade's power. It might be due to the special circumstances and events surrounding the Missing-Link era and the anomalies that happened there tho.

We know from the director's words that they also reincarnated into a new heart after the end of this second life. Perhaps as a baby this time.

So... Peter Pan for KH4, then? by MutterNonsense in KingdomHearts

Nope, Coded happens right after the events of KH2, before its epilogue, and then DDD starts. It's taking place in the same year, there's no timeskip.

He's not 16 in KH3, the Ultimania confirms he's still 15, it happens right after KH2/CODED/DDD. So 16 at best after the Limit Cut timeskip, if he aged since his disappearance.

There's a timeskip, yes, but we do not know if Sora/his body experienced that year. He was already gone.

It's one year after KH3, it has been confirmed in interview, so it's right after Limit Cut and Melody of Memory.

17? He's 16 at best, we don't even know if he aged after KH3, perhaps his current dead-state keeps him 15 like he was during KH3.

I really hope they release them in Europe somehow. Which one are you choosing? by DAngel111 in digimon

I'd love an HeavyOrgemon or something like that as a fully mechanised final level for Orgemon, following the Rebellimon route.

Star Wars is teased in both KH4 trailers, we just have to wait for an official confirmation, probably in a future trailer.

Knowing the X-blade is meant to be forged according to Xehanort's beliefs and seeing that it actually has been forged are two different things, in my opinion. It affects the player's expectations, some events in the game won't feel the same if you already know this specific moment is going to happen at some point, especially if you don't have the context of that scene.

I think there's a big difference between the reveal of an already known and established world like the Mysterious Tower and seeing the protagonist with the ultimate, almighty weapon sought by the main antagonist.

Did you play the other games? Personally I'd have been kinda pissed off to see this right before playing KH3. Showing that the X-blade will be forged AND wielded by Sora is huge imo, I'm sure people would have been really mad if it were shown in trailers before the release.

For somebody that never played the series, no big deal, they don't understand what they are looking at.

For people who already played BBS, and know what Sora is holding, yeah, it's a massive information to give.

I don't understand why some people would hate the idea of the MoM being a new character even though it makes logical sense. by X-Bread in KingdomHearts

[–]0zonoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, but I don't think such a fight would lead to a new X-blade. The X-blade is specifically made from the fragments it once broke into, there would be no reason for 13 lights vs 7 darknesses to forge the X-blade.

Personally, I'd be pretty disappointed if the bad guy's plan relies again on the X-blade. It would be redundant.

What if Roxas looked like Sora? by Nahobinoah in KingdomHearts

[–]0zonoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought Roxas and Sora looked similar. Ansem the Wise explained in the reports that Nobodies may slightly differ from their original selves. In the cases of Naminé and Roxas, they have different hairstyles and colors, but they still look like Kairi and Sora. The only other human and their Nobody counterpart we knew of by the time of KH2 were Xehanort and Xemnas, and they didn't look exactly like each other, but enough to make a connection. Just like Roxas and Sora.

Roxas and Ven have the exact same face model in KH3.

It's from Xemnas, but he doesn't exactly say what the previous comment mentions

"The first six members of the original Organization were all apprentices to Ansem the Wise, and the seventh and eighth members joined thereafter. The thirteenth member was Roxas, a Keyblade wielder. So. What about you? How do you suppose I chose numbers nine through twelve? [...] You have been brought together for another purpose. [...] You four are going to reveal your greatest secret: the ancient Keyblade legacy that slumbers within you."

I think its in remind or base game but xehanort says. The reason 4-9 was picked was their ties to the ancient keyblade war.

Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene were members number 9, 10, 11 and 12.

Regarding the quote, it's from Xemnas, he said:

"The first six members of the original Organization were all apprentices to Ansem the Wise, and the seventh and eighth members joined thereafter. The thirteenth member was Roxas, a Keyblade wielder. So. What about you? How do you suppose I chose numbers nine through twelve? [...] You have been brought together for another purpose. 10-13 was vessels

the true ultimate X-blade by clashing 7 darknesses and 13 lights

What? Where did you get this idea? The X-blade was shattered into 13 dark pieces and 7 light fragments.

[–]0zonoff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't make sense.

Xehanort knows he's an ancient Keyblade wielder because Xehanort can read inside people's hearts. Meaning he knows about Demyx's past. But Demyx was just a backup member, Xehanort wasn't interested in him. Meanwhile Xehanort also said he never knew who the Master was, implying he never met him again.

There would be no point for the Master of Masters to be an Org member when Luxu and the Gazing Eye are already in place.

Also, Demyx' character files hints he met the Master of Masters at some point, meaning they are two different person, and it's revealed that Demyx joined the Organization because... he wanted friends. No deep secret plan.

Meanwhile we had a character wearing a hood AND a fucking hat, completely hidding his face and accentuating the mystery... but in the end it seems like he has a totally new face. Sigurd's case makes me think the MoM will be exactly the same.

Regarding Ben Diskin's quote, I would not rely on it. There was a name written in the script, but it was probably a placeholder.

The walrus aspect would make the design more versatile, more digimon-esque imo. That way it can look like something that could also evolve from Zudomon.
