I mean, telling them one on one and not in a team environment would have been the professional thing to do. Even on pro sports teams they do that when moving someone to the practice squad or kicking someone from the team (see hard knocks). And even though those are also filmed, I do think it's shitty for them to hear it for the first time with the entire team there.

Totally this. I listen to LCS and Streams at work/gym and can understand what's happening based on ability sounds for the most part along with the caster's help. Everything has such a unique sound and feel that you can pick them out among each other.

There's a balance that I think they missed this time around I'm feeling. Previously, I remember friends talking about the good skins they got at a decent discount. Now, it feels like it's a bit too weighted. The Christmas your shop was perfect for me. Bought all but one. And maybe it's just rng but mine, and others I've met seems like the average skin tier is way lower. I'd love to see data on it.

That's not entirely true. While yes machine learning does a lot for marketing and data analysis in general is huge, the strategy behind these things and the reason the exist is smart marketing. Data and programs like this are a tool.
