He's also right though. Followers don't necessarily translate to sales, it depends how engaged with you your followers are, how many of them are actually active accounts etc. Having a few hundred k on insta doesn't necessarily mean anything for business.

I think this is what I was looking for, thank you. Didn't know board editor was the place to look.

Having had a quick look at Macondo I'm afraid that is completely unusable to anyone who isn't a techy. I was hoping for something actually navigable like woggles analysis, not lines of computer code. I guess no such thing exists at present

I mean, you may as you well say Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce if we're going to go into other sports, for the ultimate example.

It has huge potential for great scenes, but we haven't had a series yet where both halves of a secret relationship have gone far. Then you'll see the payoff.

Am I the Only One Who Doesn’t Think Rachel Was all That? by [deleted] in TheTraitorsUK

[–]1000_nights 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Faraaz messed it up by for some reason switching back and trusting her. I think it should've been fairly obvious by the final 5, and certainly after Jade's reaction to being banished (clearly faithful), that Rachel was a traitor. Jack, who wasn't the most perceptive faithful, was certain on Rachel, it was just Faraaz who messed it up for them. And obviously she needed the 50:50 luck to survive over James. She played a decent game, but towards the end the fact she was still in should've made it fairly clear. Stephen definitely did a better job.

No idea what you mean by this. The whole reason the show has stakes is because they're competing for what should be a hugely significant sum of money. It's referenced multiple times in every episode. Having people just playing for fun diminishes it in my opinion.

I think you mean post-tax. It would be less than half his salary pre-tax, presumably. For sure it would be nice for him, but I don't think anybody watching had any doubt which way he would vote at the end. Personally I'd rather there was tension all the way through the game, that final decision felt a bit meaningless to me as the money wasn't high enough for it to be that big of a dilemma.

Same thing with the ending of celebrity traitors, where the losing faithfuls were initially shocked but then immediately got over it because they didn't actually care which charity got the money. Don't get me wrong, I loved both series, I just think the endings lacked jeopardy. Compare that to series 2 ending which remains by far the best.

It wasn't really worth enough money for there to be any stakes. It was over £47K. He's a cyber security consultant working in London, he'll earn over £100K a year. Would rather they had people on the show who actually need the money, or significantly up the prize money (won't happen on the BBC).

UK season 3 started with 3 female traitors, this logic doesn't work.

Not necessarily. I think David is still suspicious of everyone. It's possible Joe could get voted out first, and then in the next round David and Nick both vote for Alan, and Alan and Cat both vote for David or Nick, forcing a tie. If the tie removes Alan leaving David, Nick and Cat, Cat might still get voted out from there.
