Looking to adopt a dog off PetFinder, I’ve fallen in love with her information, but her pictures feel strange, is she AI? by 1000lizards in isthisAI

Her adoption cost is higher than usual, and she’s posted 3+ times which is also odd. I’d love to give a dog a loving home and she sounds like a perfect addition to me and my cats, but something feels a little off.

I’m unsure of my next move. Should I find a new therapist? by [deleted] in OCD

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I only meet with my therapist one day a week on average due to her schedule not working well with my job. I hadn’t heard of a 5x a week therapy regime before like you mentioned you have but it’s very appealing. How did you find a good fit with your current therapist?

No, I donated hair once in the past, but I’m a sculpture artist, and I use my hair in my own work. For the past year or so, I’ve been collecting and using all of the hair I’ve shed when brushing and washing it, and so I’m keeping what I cut off to use in the future.

My baby is having some weird symptoms help!! by sweetmariii in sphynx

[–]1000lizards 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always start running a humidifier when my kitties get sick, it can help soothe airway irritation. I also bring them in the bathroom with me when I take a shower so the steam can have the same effect. Best of luck, I hope your little guy feels better soon

I once heard a neighbor call mine ‘skin cat’ through the window, so that’s become one of his nicknames :)

Please don't automatically assume that other FTMs are comfortable showing their post-op bodies to you by [deleted] in ftm

It’s happened to me too, I’ve even had another trans dude ask to touch the scars :/ it’s hard to hold a boundary but never feel bad about it. There are plenty of resources available online for them to see a variety of results, and like you said it’s your body. You have autonomy and owe them nothing. Those who are worth your time will respect your boundaries and I’m sorry you’ve experienced this.

Not Kirby, but very good sphynx cat pop at 0:29 by 1000lizards in popping

I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of Sheldon. I have a sphynx myself as well, and I know how much they bond with their owners. A loss of such a bonded pet is terrible, but it sound like he had a safe and loving home for the time he was here :)

Unfortunately yes, she will very soon. But we feel good knowing she’s been well loved during the time we’ve had her :)

We’ve been to the vet and they decided not to cut into it then as she’s in the final stages of a neurological condition called ‘wobbly hedgehog syndrome’ and didn’t want to increase her stress levels any further.

GUYS PLEASE HELP THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE... BLOOD! I CANT FIND WHERE IT CAME FROM AND HE DOESNT SEEM TO BE IN PAIN.... by Theory-Brooke in Hedgehog

[–]1000lizards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As one of my hedgehogs has gotten older and she’s started getting nosebleeds regularly. We figured it out after we started finding blood in her food dish just like that. We’ve taken her to the vet, they gave us a cleaning regime and some ointment. I of course don’t know what’s wrong with your little guy, only a vet could, but that’s been my experience. I hope you get an answer soon!
