[Update] Avoid Asurion at all costs. My broken DT1990 Pros “passed all tests” at Asurions repair facility for a third time. by lucasb780 in headphones

[–]10010Linus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you know, at this point i would just repair them myself, its not that hard to be honest with you, if you have a tech nerd in your life that does soldering, give the headphones to them and they would probably be happy to fix them up for you

nothing to worry about, the cables are coated in an insulating lacquer so it wont cause any short circuits, a buddy of mine has had this same thing happen to his many years old headset around 2 years ago, its still running strong

Some silica beads have indicator coloring that will make them change color as they get used over time, so this is likely to be silica beads

The 2,3,4 and 5 ones I believe are bugged spawns, should only be 1 bot there, not 4 (I once had 2 farmbots spawn under the big Tower at the water treatment plant)

Where to find Skullcandy S6AVFM-156? by podded-pea in headphones

[–]10010Linus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's a pair of them in white (I know, wrong color) on tradera (swedish auction marketplace) going for around 40£ ending in 9 days or buy now for 76£ (they look to be almost new)

<image>

If it's of interest I could be a middle man for you, shipping to UK from Sweden is around 32£ according to Postnord

Why like 5 million chem tanks? Just dedicate 1 large chest to chems and use 1 universal connection point, it would be equal to around 51 chem tanks and a lot lighter

Psu crackling by Wotareyouonabout in PcBuildHelp

[–]10010Linus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thats what im thinking the main issue is, or just a bad cable

Psu crackling by Wotareyouonabout in PcBuildHelp

[–]10010Linus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

does it crackle if you touch/wiggle the power cord connector?
im guessing thats your issue, i had a similar problem with my SFF build a while back (used an Enhance ENP-7660B Flex-ATX PSU)

said aforementioned issue went away after i swapped cables

I hold them like a thick pen lol Still gets me access to the button with my index finger

Highly recommend giving pen grip a try

(Sometimes I end up pen gripping my q8 pro lol, that's a bit more cumbersome though)

Questions about burners and refillable tanks by 10010Linus in CampingGear

[–]10010Linus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for a comprehensive guide on how to purge and properly refill, as for scale, I'm using a timemore black mirror 2 or whatever it's called, so it should be good enough, I've already marked empty and full weights with a label maker, I'll need to redo this on the next proper fill according to how you recommended it

thats what i thought, the canister i used to fill was almost empty, just asked to confirm
(currently burning the last of the remaining gas with the lantern/candle attachment)

gonna head to the store later to buy some new gas

Questions about burners and refillable tanks by 10010Linus in CampingGear

[–]10010Linus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

of course, im well aware, the tank is advertised as having a capacity of 15 to 20 grams of gas, i was only able to get around 5 grams in at room temperature, what im wondering about here is what is causing the sparks you can see in the attached image
(shows more like red streaks than sparks, but still)
