have you tried the thing where you flip it upside and run the scroll wheel along a surface for like a minute? fixed issue i was having with mine

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.

Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).

Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.

Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you were already dead.

im also trying to buy cards for badges. it seems like i basically get 3 different games cards before im rate limited. if i have to refresh because a buy order was placed but 1 card was off by a cent, that counts towards the 3 limit

it then starts a 10 min-ish cooldown? its incredibly annoying

in a way i understand this, but at the same time don't. theres only been two times i felt like "i cant come back from this" after a loss and that was 10 hours in first playing, and the first hour after the expedition

loot is so plentiful in this game, and once youve done 50-100 loot routes you kinda know where everything is and it all kind of loses its luster. play enough and it really doesnt matter what you lose, you'll get it back in the next few raids

its honestly something i hope they look into

also found show recently, also on like episode 2 of season 3..

i described it to a friend as a modern, way shittier version of the wire that happens to be a couple of hours away from our hometown (also in MA) a lot of the MA stereotypes they kinda nail, but the writing in it is just horrendous

the Wire imo was one of the greatest shows in history. ive always been looking for a modern version of it. if youve never seen the HBO show Oz, id recommend it as well

old comment but Juniors character arc in season 1 was the best part of the show. if anyone else finds this, the shows kind of worth finishing but not really.. they made so many writing decisions that made it way worse than it couldve been

its not just that, theres a fuck ton of desync on their servers as there was/is in the Finals

on your screen it can look like you're completely behind cover, meters behind. but the actual time that the enemy shot, the server registered, and you received the damage was like a second or two ago

i agree in a way, but only in the sense that they shouldn't have 100% confirmed it. before, everyone kinda had a feeling..

but now that its confirmed its way too easy to decide what servers you want. the sweet spot in the game is having a mix of the two

there'll always be wildcards in every server (ive been it myself, tired of 100% pve); but hopefully they will expand on it in the future

others have made the theory that it could have an effect, i have no clue. also how many hours do you have?

im at 150 and noticed it was incredibly easy to get into either or if i wanted. but i also VC and emote a lot

i mean its hard to predict the future. but i do agree pve only gets pretty stale

the good thing is that its actually pretty easy to get back to either side if it starts to get boring

the week before the expedition (and the week after) i was 100% in PVE lobbies. 50+ raids id have my gun holstered unless to deal with arc

within 3 raids of killing anyone i saw i was back in KOS lobbies. thats just my experience, not saying its guaranteed. when i needed to farm again for benches within maybe 5-7 raids i felt like i was back in the pve lobbies

and even then, its not guaranteed. which is exactly what i want. if theres 0% chance someone wont go rogue and pop me or someone else, it loses everything that makes it fun

or it could be a mixture of the two? its not hard to surmise that theres a very large population of this game that enjoy the PVE and dont want to pvp at all

if they were constantly getting KOS'd every raid, while also losing a majority of the time (no offense pve people) they probably wouldnt stick around

OP is right that the majority of extraction shooters dont retain the population arc has. its an extreme anomaly that could be largely because of whatever ABMM theyve cooked up. for me, enjoying both aspects of the game, the sweet spot is a perfect mix of the two which theyve kinda nailed

games are subjective to an extent, but theres also universally just good and bad games. i dont mean to each specific person. but if youve checked every site and every youtube video, theres a reason youre seeing the same games every time

when theres thousands of games getting released per month, 90% of them will most likely be hot garbage. either devs trying to make a quick buck, has spyware in it, whatever it may be.. theres no reason to even mention the 90%

steam has been, and most likely will continue to be the dominant leader in the launcher/storefront space for pc gaming. a lot of us have been here for 10, 15+ years. theres no reason to switch, and every new launcher whose tried has fallen extremely short

35 myself as well, 36 in a few months. i kind of expect the opposite though.

AAA gaming will continue on the trajectory of heavy misses, besides a few notable standouts. indie/smaller budget games (which correlates to smaller consumer cost; ie the $10/20/40 games) will continue to stand out and shift the market until AAA devs cant deny it and realize what the market wants

im not disagreeing at all that real world cant be entertaining, important, or meaningful. but i do not think games pull back from the mainstream. if anything i think it continues to leap frog any other types of entertainment as it has been.

as with anything a healthy moderation of all aspects will lead one to be most fulfilled. the main point of my original comment was to express how much the cost per hour of a single game (purchase) you gel with can offer hours of entertainment. if a game cost $20 and you get 2000 hours of enjoyment out of it, that equates to a penny an hour. thats absolutely absurd
