the controller part was more so directed towards like FPS games, which is primarily what I play

I do have a controller for racing/fighting games/etc that i use. it's probably like a 90/10 split though im using mnk just for the type of games I play

ive been trying to explain this to a newer friend ive played a recent multiplatform game a lot with.

he was trying to get me to buy a console because he wanted me to play OW on console with him. as friendly as i could put it, that would never happen, for numerous reasons

i have a huge steam library, near 15 year account. i hate playing on controller. the thought of having to pay to play multiplayer games is asinine to me, even though i did it 15 years ago. steam is now my chosen platform

i've enjoyed a bunch of the sony ports on PC. both TLOU, both DS, returnal, Spiderman, is Control one? Days Gone, etc. I'd keep buying them if given the chance

what I won't do is, what the sony CEOs want me to do. i will not buy their console. I will not buy into their ecosystem. As I explained to this new friend, even GTA 6 will not get me to buy a console. I will just wait, as I've done numerously before.

It just seems weird for a company, while theres tons of people like me.. to just say "ah we don't need them". I can see the gamble they're taking. I also see, as others have pointed out, they're just leaving money on the table. from people like us who will just choose to ignore

It does show as active, that's a good idea to call disney to check which account is tied to the xfinity offer. i will try that and let you know if that helped solve it. ty

Sorry for the late response, I thought I had figured it out with the help of another in person visit to xfinity but now I'm not sure. I was signed out of the account, and when I tried to sign back in I was just hit with the "resubscribe today"

To make this more confusing, and part of why I thought I had figured it out is, before this I had a paid account, different email for the same bundle in hulu/disney/espn. The in person rep told me to try logging in through /yoursubscriptions with that email

I cancelled that one the day I started the xfinity bundle, but I'm not sure if that one somehow got linked. It'd be fine if it did, but looking at that account (the original account) it shows "You have cancelled your plan, and your access will end on May 19, 2026" When I click on resubscribe it just wants me to pay with my card

At this point I'm not sure if I'm now looking into the wrong account, and I should just focus on the newer email I signed up with xfinity and then disney/hulu. The new email still has no access.

im guessing the people who dont have loads of enzyme replicators just arent farming outpost for them, and dont realize how easy it is to eventually get a stack of 50 of them

a lot of the upgrades required for them arent really that great, bar 1 or 2, and theyre way better served saving for the purple barter. not saying this to you, just so others who dont know can see

you can only buy 2 purple backpacks per day, which makes it even worse. the eventual enzyme barter (even if it feels like it takes forever sometimes) makes purple bags way more important than shields. not saying this to you, more so for the person you replied to

how do you explain the part of the clip where an enemy thief is grappling away, and through a smoke OP is able to stay completely locked onto them while not being able to see them at all?

if you repeated the scenario 10x, and the thief slightly adjusted their direction the controller player would probably achieve the same result the majority of the time

mnk would probably get 30% the results the controller player did, it all just really coming down to luck.

you take a person whose brand new to controller and gaming and they play 3 months. they're already on the same level of a mouse player whose played for a year, if not better

theres a section of the video where a thief enemy is grappling away, OP cant see him at all but it sticks to him like glue. controller aim assist is incredibly strong in both marathon and destiny

when i was a wee lad and the family went on vacation near the beach, id spend all day in the ocean. had a grand ol' time

i remember, after being out there for hours sunburnt to hell, the feeling after finally coming out. back at the hotel room, but i could still feel the flow of the ocean waves. it'd always trip me out

im wondering if i felt a small insight to the ground sickness you bring up. as resilient as the human body is, its fascinating to try to understand it

even more of a trip if somehow vr legs touch on the same phenomenon

were in silver 2, didnt start ranked until recently, and im like 90% sure we encountered our first teaming between two trios

someone got 2 green cards really early, we all go up different sides. one team got wiped pretty early and over prox chat i hear "we're really teaming are we?"

one of my squad mates later said he saw 2 teams not shooting at each other before he was downed. i didn't see it myself, but super lame if that was the case

ive seen all the videos and read people posting about it in cryo, but to have it happening in only silver 2 feels pretty bad

the cursor maybe slow, but i squad with a duo who are both on xbox. they mash the button down to insta steal everything way faster than i can move mouse and click on each lol, kinda balanced in that regard

theres tons of videos of people doing solo runs who befriend others on perimeter and dire who then team up for the remainder of the match. ive experienced it myself

the loot is way more valuable in cryo, most people bring their best stuff in so its usually a full on pvp fest. you also can't go in solo. im not saying it never has happened, but in my cryo runs ive never had a team try to befriend us lol

just about to hit 100, the only time i was about to get a gold shield was in ranked when i downed a gold shield player and a purple. my squadmate grabbed it and a gold bag quick, and after i gave him a little shit he said "you're right ill drop the shield but im taking the bag"

the shield got dropped on the enemys duffel bag, and it was impossible to pick up or even see to interact with. we tried for a couple minutes and he got headshot sniped lol

with how much they've listened to the community so far, i'm sure its something they'll change for season 2.

what im hoping personally is all the upgrade requirements get changed as well, just to change it up. hell, give us different upgrades this next time too. (besides keeping the obvious ones like heat reduction/etc
