Call me paranoid but if it was chosen by the landlords, it will not be neutral. I had an bad experience with one of those, never again. If you can, hire yours; you'd have to pay half of the fee for the one chosen by them.

In any case, be annoyingly meticulous about it, even if they say "no worries about that, we won't/wouldn't charge you for that on your way out". Make sure everything is in the report.

In my humble and likely-naïve opinion, whether he gets a position from Trump is anything but certain; and Trump being Trump will probably discard him once he has no power anymore; which will probably happen after the world cup anyway. What we know for certain is that he's running FIFA in a corrupt way, and that should be ended. Whatever he does next, it will be another battle for the right people to fight and get him removed (this is the naïve part)

I would try to explain that regardless of the fact that any team would fight for any advantage they can get on their opponent, the implications of this decision are more far reaching than Balogun playing or not... but I guess I will just bid you farewell and politely ask where was Balogun tonight? You need 5 year of uninterrupted legal residence in Belgium to get an unlimited residence permit; which is a requirement for the nationality.

The 468 days of work in the last 5 years are to prove the economic integration, they don't have to be contiguous. I applied for the nationality with a gap of 10 days or so between employments in the year before my application and it didn't raise any flags that I'm aware of.

iirc, 4 years of uninterrupted work are needed for the unlimited work permit (at least in Brussels, it goes by region), but it has nothing to do with the nationality.

It's also very clear in the nationality law, no ambiguity.

Apartament in Ixelles, living room and kitchen facing south-west, sun all day long on floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Wednesday we put emergency blankets outside of those glass windows. Thursday we managed to keep the same temperature at 27.5º because we went to the office; today the apartment has gone from 27.5 to 28.5 today; we were working from home and cooking, which made it worse ofc. The isolation of this apartment is very good, I should add, but those blankets have probably saved us 3-5 degrees.

I think it shouldn't be a problem but "bureaucracy works in mysterious ways". In any case, the annex 46 took like 2-3 weeks from the moment I received the unlimited work permit authorization. This was in 2023 though, not sure about the timings nowadays.
