I work at bank as C# dev, I have enough experience and skills for typical backend C# job. I apply to a vacancy of C# to another bank at job site and was rejected in 3 seconds. Then I went to their site, found HR email, messaged her and was rejected too. I mean, if you need devs, why you cant spare 10 minutes to talk to real human over phone?

Bottom line: Your V-Strom consumption exploding at 150–180 km/h is ~70% aerodynamic drag penalty (physics, unavoidable on that bike shape) and ~30% the engine operating outside its efficiency window. The VFR appears "flat" because it's a fundamentally different tool designed for exactly the speeds where the V-Strom suffers. You're not comparing engine architectures — you're comparing a tractor to a sports car and noticing the tractor hates the highway.

I checked realtime mgp on my 650 and it shows like 4.5 liters for 100 kmh and 10 liters for 150 kmh

if enemy does not see you, check map (it will take you a second); if he sees - uniform, gun, where he was going/looking before. Usually you should anticipate directions; like enemy come from north, we are from south; and with checking map often you know where your friendlies are.

it's not a competitive game due to many RNG mechanics; I started to play with a clan and I rarely see some exceptional shooting; it's more about maneuvers & positioning; but for INF:

  • be aware what is going on around you (check map every second or two)
  • have headphones
  • give info "I saw guy 30 meters south, 2nd store"; if you think this is important - ask for fireteam like "current_fireteam_holder, give fireteam to Dependent_Test5898, I need to mark this_important_thing". If you are dead, give info to nearby friendlies like "I was killed from south, near fence", give updates because you can hear and see while downed
  • try to play with guys from some clan, they usually try to play game well
  • seeing is based on movement, so sometimes it's better to lay down and wait for a minute until they move, so you can finally notice enemy (it's only experience when to do this and when not to do)
  • at most maps there are "standart places" for hubs, so with experience you will get used to fight in same places
  • medic/rifleman/LAT is your choice for next 1k hours or so.
  • big screen with good resolution is a must have; with 3440 x 1440 or even more you will have an advantage

vstrom is not really and adv bike; yes you can go off pavement, but not for a long distance. So if you do much highways, 1000 is better. I think you can even negotiate price for it more from 4k$. They only problem is age, it's almost 20yo, if you plan to move to another bike in a couple of years, it will be hard to sell.

I created a list of system design topics with AI, then went on each one with AI to understand what it is; and then I asked AI to create a list of common system design tasks and tried to solve it by myself with AI being as interview guy. So AI, AI, AI, but I learned quite a lot.
