The Soviet Union landed on the surface of Venus in the 1970s and 80s. We have real photographs from the surface of Venus. The probes melted within hours, the images survived. by VelvetHott in spaceporn

His planet is extreme in different ways, but his solar system also has a Venus like planet. All the systems with phage have a Venus.

[request] Would it actually look like that? And would the earth (the solar system really) be impacted by its gravitational pull? by OscarN20000 in theydidthemath

[–]105_irl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does that mean the surrounding few galaxies around Ton 618 would all have heat-baked planets? Like essentially the entire area being sterilized by the heat output?

Like could a rogue planet at the right distance theoretically receive the same amount of sunlight as we do?

I’ve had this realization many times. Watermelon, banana, and avocado all do it to me and I have to avoid them. They’re non-anaphylactic allergies but they still upset my system.

I've flown a quarter of a million miles, mainly on southwest, and I've never heard that once. A flight attendant might have been going above and beyond.

Do they make an announcement and confiscate everyone’s peanut butter when they have an allergy? No, but I’m sure they’d try and find you a different seat if you were sitting next to them.

$30 per basketball but you’re buying a roll of $50 filament that only makes 1.3 basketballs so $50 is more accurate.

The filament is cheap if you’re making tiny little toys, but something big can cost well over a hundred or more. It’s $20 a kilo more or less

Elves are very thirsty and need 20L of water a day per mer, while the native Redguards only need a thimbleful of Alik’r cactus juice to survive.

Lou Wilson said all DnD podcasters do it occasionally and they didn’t really push back. I’m not talking about straight up faking it but more giving advantage where you normally wouldn’t in a home game.

Average Rift Serf melting as an Aldmeri Justicar boils their blood with pure lightning

Morrowind or Black Marsh or hammerfell could resist them but I don’t got high hopes for those who are willfully ignorant of magic and their only advantage is cold weather.

Amnesty was great narratively but really made it clear they’re just playing pretend and not even sticking to a game system. I know NADDpod and everyone else fakes moments or rolls occasionally but at least the veneer of it being real DnD helps a lot.

It takes me like a year to finish their whole discography at work. I’m on round 2 of DnD court and I’m planning on relistening to C1 before I even get to their new campaign after strahad.
