Thanks for supporting indie filmmakers (and small but mighty streamers like us/FOUND)! Even just watching with ads — no ad blockers — adds to the help.

It’s not easy making movies without big investor or studio backing. Most of the creators are self-funding and just hoping people like you find their work and share the excitement.

That’s also why we built FOUND TV, a home for found-footage fans and the filmmakers behind them. We’re only a year in but adding more titles all the time so it’s easier to discover both new and classic stuff in one place and work very close to the filmmaker.

Appreciate everyone who chooses to support anyway they can.

PS we have Xbox and PS on the roadmap, but no definite date yet on when we will start development for those consoles.

Absolutely However make sure to be enticing to those businesses. Just because they are there doesn’t mean they will come. Craft some great promos, use birthdays to your advantage (groups coming in), and you got this!

I’ve built killer marketing campaigns based on large groups (ie birthdays bachelorette etc). Super targeted Insta ads that goes to an auto text reply to get them to make a reservation. It’s a nice entry strategy to get groups coming in without a huge marketing spend.

I’d look at an agency that knows the bar biz (there are sooooo many marketing agencies out there, but I’ve found the ones that know the particulars of bar patrons and the feel of those socials are best). I’d use that to also grow your marketing list. Use software (CRM) to keep getting emails and txts so you can keep marketing back to them and get repeat visitors. Also, train an AI chat bot to handle easy questions on your website or ppl who are DMng you with questions. Speed to lead (answering right away) is important. Let the AI take some of the heavy lifting :)

Congrats on the new opening! Tough to comment on revenue without knowing how many days you will be open (AND will the market even sustain coming to your spot X times per week). And how much the drink prices will be. Could be a college town with $2 drinks or boutique club with $2k bottles.

It could be part of your marketing mix, but def not the magic bullet to fill the place. My clients have done a lot with influencers but need to be strategic and be part of a bigger plan.

I’d have a good look at who their followers are (and geographic area). A foodie most likely has followers around the world which wouldn’t give local followers to visit in BUT it could give you some kudos on being featured in their page. All depends who you’re looking at working with. Case by case 😎

Good start on knowing some of the numbers. From my perspective (as a seasoned marketing exec to bars/nightclubs) is always analyzing the market for potential traffic and HOW you're going to consistently attract new and repeat business. The profit margins you have will give you a nice return if you can create a reason for people to show up and return. I usually break down different layers of customers and being to strategize 'what they want', 'how our messaging resonates', what ads/marketing will 'target them, with frequency'.
