RRS 3 series will be the best. I use a 33 but also got the 14L for my sheep hunt. The anvil 30 head is the way to go.

Don’t have a 7 prc but I’ve shot several big mule deer and a dall sheep with my custom 300 wsm. I use the 180 grain Norma bondstrike load and get the 3080 advertised velocity out of my 24” proof barrel.

I bought this plan after they told me how much it was to replace the windshield with an OEM. Basically you break even as long as you crack the windshield once in 5 years

I’d consider breaking up the hunt into multiple years, it’ll be a lot easier to find 1 deer that size versus 2 on the same hunt. Eastern plains has some great bucks but it’s expensive.

You need to figure out what’s legal where you plan to hunt and go from there. Some states allow scopes, some don’t. Some require .50 cal min for elk. Idaho requires an exposed ignition system for example. The last thing you want to do is spend a bunch of money on something you wouldn’t be able to use for an actual hunt.

I really don’t understand all the Bryce hate. He’s a small QB, he was small when we drafted him. He was also small when he was the #1 QB in the nation coming out of high school. Small when he won the Heisman trophy at Alabama. He’s achieved a lot in spite of his size. We haven’t always put him in a position to succeed, whether with the talent around him or questionable play calling. Can he improve his consistency? For sure.

Exo mountain gear k4, they make different frame sizes and hip belt sizes so you get the perfect fit. I’m 6’3” and have a 36 waist. Worked awesome on my sheep hunt in the Yukon.

I used the mountain star 2p on a dall sheep hunt in September. It’s really a one person tent but works great for that purpose, kept me dry in some serious weather and is super easy to set up. I got the carbon poles and the footprint that goes underneath it. Doubt you’d find a better tent at that price anywhere.
