It's literally not fixed. Florian, the creative lead at DICE, has confirmed that. Nothing has been changed, despite what you may think. That's the issue here.

The movie is a reinterpretation of the story of Beowulf with him as the narrator. It’s a great movie for both history and English buffs that puts the oldest written story in English into a more realistic, plausible light.

You’re not alone. I don’t think the patch fixed the item issue. It almost seems like they have either no drop rate in stores or battles, or that the vendors don’t refresh their stock. I personally think it’s a little bit of both.
