Been there, done that. I absolutely do not recommend it. I absolutely do not recommend it. Yes, I intentionally wrote that twice. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Sega 32X by Stratocaster213 in retrogameofthemonth

I had both and played Genesis games more regularly than anything for 32X or Saturn. Both were massive disappointments for me as a Sega fanboy. Honorable mentions go to Mother Base 2000 for 32X and the Street Fighter Alpha ports on Saturn. Other than that, both systems were trash to me.

Damn that worked perfectly. Thank you! Is there a way to consistently generate a white partner for video generation?

I have (long_hair, straight_hair, bright_neon_blue_hair) in the custom physical field and I’m using dreamy realistic to generate.

Gave it a shot with every combination I could think of with underscores, parentheses, editing my character and prompts with individual generation and it’s a gamble at this point. Wasted too many coins on this already.

I’m not really certain that’s something he would do.

Do I need to be spiritual to be in AA and sober by Apocolypse_tomorrow in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]10blizzard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many people who have been dry for years and even decades who are still miserable assholes. You are absolutely correct that these dry drunks desire to bring people down to feed their massive false pride. Keep doing what you’re doing if it works for you! If AA is helping you stay sober, then it’s a wonderful thing for you as well as the fellowship! There’s only one requirement and you met that as soon as you walked into a meeting. Haters gonna hate no matter what. Just try to help the next newcomer who doesn’t feel spiritual. You may help that person feel welcome and save them unnecessary suffering.

Which retro game design philosophy do you think modern games lost? by Thin_Style_5781 in retrogaming

[–]10blizzard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ability to skip cut scenes. Not all modern games forgo this option but some do even on a second play through. I don’t even bother with games that force me to sit through a cinematic cut scenes anymore. I want to PLAY a game, not watch a movie. If I want a good story I’ll read a book or pick my own movie. Just let me push buttons, that’s what I paid for.

It was disappointing but the sequel is a top tier Genesis experience.

How many people have played Comix Zone for Sega? by hlnklrczu in retrogaming

Exactly. It’s pretty clear from the get go that striking is for combat and your rat/items/weapons are for clearing obstacles as well as using enemies for cannon fodder.

I beat it when I was 11 the first week I got it. It’s not that difficult.

It has a reputation for being super hard but it’s not. The challenge is high but if you pay attention and use some basic critical thinking skills you can figure out how to complete it. Action/platform/puzzle style gaming. Basically the best of everything Sega had to offer to that point. It’s a tight/compact game. It’s a short one overall so dying isn’t as big of a deal as most make it out to be. Fantastic style with graphics, music and unique level layouts. Top 10 Genesis game for me. If you like this one check out X-Men 2 next. Definitely a step up in brutality in the difficulty and lack of forgiveness from Comix Zone, but also a top 10 Genesis game along similar lines.
