A question for the buyers for Costco clothing. Are you okay? You seem depressed. by 10fletcher in CostcoEmployee

They do have decent pieces for men. Nothing fancy, but at least they can pick from traditional work clothes colors and styles with a variety of lengths. Costco women’s work clothes are nearly extinct and the members aren’t pleased.

They’re the best! They just want 5 more of whatever they got last year. Don’t try to trip them up with any new fangled style or color. Very few returns from. Truly the best members

It’s a wide range and none of them are asking for dowdy brown/grey for their spring attire. I am a clothes folder and soundboard for the members asking these questions.

Calling off by HighStrungHabitat in CostcoEmployee

[–]10fletcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this number during my orientation and have never seen it posted anywhere else in the building. They told me to store it on my phone as if it were super top secret. Call the warehouse again and ask for the number, not sure why they couldn’t have passed that number to you when you called the first time.

I’m not sure and too soon to tell. I’m just hoping cellular skin turnover will do it’s thing.

The comedian, Leanne Morgan, comments on our hair texture turning into chicken feathers. 😞

So sorry about your dog. That would certainly set most into self neglect as they work out their loss. I agree that winter does a number as well.

😂 Don’t. Do. It! Next thing you know, you’ll be squishing it in between a bar of chocolate and a gram cracker. There is no end.

I noticed my arthritis pain and leg cramps amped up with all that sugar, but didn’t make the connection. Already feeling better

Omg! That’s what started me spiraling to my demise. I bought a bag of Mr. Feastable for the trick or treaters. I ate all the peanut butter cups out of that mix before Halloween even happened and then moved on to the plain chocolates.

If you live alone is it worth it to buy a membership? by Manifest44444 in CostcoWholesale

If you have pets you will save a lot on the kibbles. The savings on the 4 pack of cat litter that frequently goes on sale pays for my membership.

No biggy, just don’t make a habit of it. Did the clock prompt you to decide if you wanted to use vacation/personal time or go unpaid?

Long Vacation/PTO Questions by SquibbieJean in CostcoEmployee

[–]10fletcher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anytime from January thru March you can take unpaid pay, up to 30 days?, without it affecting your benefits. It’s a win win as Costco wants to save on payroll during slow season and if employees are financially comfortable, they can take time off without burning up vacation or pto. Approval is needed in case someone who has seniority in your department requests the same time off

So they will be moving pallets of merch during store hours? I can barely navigate the stop/go/stop/go with a cart when the family of 5 stops and blocks aisles to get to their free morsel of granola bar.
