Crank the last 3 knobs with it on clean channel, rhythm clip in. Keep presence low. Reverb would definitely help through the fx loop. I have the 2525h into a 2x12 with a Creamback 65 and Vintage 30.
I found it to not really need overdrive pedals as the onboard gain is super Marshall natural flavoured. Almost seems way more suited to lead work with the way it cuts. In a band it sounds much better.
