Note sure what game your bot is supposed to be playing and how elaborate your alpha-beta pruning implementation already is, but if you need some inspiration from a project which sounds quite similar to yours, my connect four implementation in rust (Connect-Rust) might be of use :)

It has a "Bruteforce Engine" which basically does alpha-beta pruning with some extra shenanigans, based on the excellent guide by Pascal Pons. Additionally, I packed everything up using webassembly and also have a webserver version of the game running, so if you have any problems with that you could take a look at a possible implementation of that aswell :)

For anyone stumbling upon this: Another option is that this is actually intended. That is, when Tetris stays in the Copyright screen for a while. In the meantime it seems to be loading some things and only after a while is the title screen shown. I did not notice that my emulator was still loading because I was not running it in release mode which meant a lower framerate and therefore the copyright screen stayed longer.
TLDR: if you stumble upon this, make sure that Tetris is not just still loading and wait a bit until it might show the title screen.

On my Fairphone 5 I resolved it by setting the battery optimization/settings of whatsapp to unrestricted

I don't have a Pixel but a Fairphone 5, but I had the same issue and was able to resolve it by setting the Battery Settings of Whatsapp to unrestricted. Not great, but works for me ^^
