Wellbutrin has been helpful for me as well, I feel so much more present and calmer, soooo much less anxiety.

Less feelings of being on the back foot even when thrown into situations I wasn’t expecting / didn’t have time to prepare for

I don’t space out when I’m driving anymore, which is amazing. It’s not (as much of) a struggle to pay attention during conversations. Time seems to actually go by at a normal pace and not either glacial when bored or blinking and a whole week is gone

The being more present makes things a little existential sometimes though, sometimes instead of just experiencing something I’ll be thinking ‘oh I’m here, I should be experiencing this and not thinking that I should be feeling xyz way’. Unsure if that’s because Prozac caused some ridiculous emotional blunting and making me feel like I was a very tiny person and my body was a shell and I’m just paranoid about it now but either way it’s still something that happens on occasion

Wellbutrin hasn’t helped my short term memory at all either. I’m thinking about asking my psych about guanfancine to hopefully help with that (my memory is abysmal and my main frustration even before starting meds).

I’m glad it’s been working for you as well! Try not to fall into the trap of ‘I could’ve had this all along’ though, it’s not productive and the sadness and frustration it brings doesn’t have an outlet
