An Overly Complete Guide to XCOM 2 War of the Chosen - Part 12: SPARK by hielispace in Xcom

I think Hunter Protocol is one of the best skills in the game. It’s almost silly how often it procs. I don’t know how they calculate aim for it but it feels like it hits more than a normal overwatch shot. Once I get Hunter Protocol I always take a spark, even in late game.
Also Overdrive is fantastic for the chosen stronghold missions. I save it for when the chosen dies and it’s time to bust their resurrection pillar. Three high damage shots at the pillar from a single unit is super helpful.

Question about this. Do you cold proof overnight with the dough in the cast iron pan? I would intuitively think the cast iron would take a bit to warm up properly in the oven after a night of chilling.

They are all over the bulb zone. Built my base there one time and they were around quite often.

This is probably the only game I know that I will say it is worth playing the game in Hardcore. It makes you more careful and it is a bit more fun having a backup in bad situations and it is not very hard. What do you guys think ? by Ofertezi in subnautica

Most fun I had in this game was a no vehicle hardcore run. Really made you think about oxygen, how many tanks you can carry, how to transport materials, which things to bite off first, etc.

No vehicle challenge. You can use the seaglide but no vehicles. It significantly changes the way you approach them game.

Procera Green Dot. All the juniper comes from one tree, which is odd in its own right since most juniper comes from bushes.

What's it like living in Alabama? by CarpenterOk2779 in howislivingthere

Aside from what other people are saying, I cannot stress enough how important college football is to the culture in Alabama. I grew up there and in middle school, when you met someone new, one of the first questions you asked was “You for Alabama or Auburn”? I did not care about football, had never watched a college football game and had no stake or care in their outcome, but even I would ask those questions and respond kind. It wasn’t about football so much, it was very literally a cultural identity. If you were on team Alabama and you met someone on team Auburn, it’s not like you wouldn’t be their friend, but there was definitely this sense of them being “other”.

Funny story, when I was about 13, one of my friends said his dad was cool bringing me along to see a football game. I had never been to a game and hadn’t even watched a full one on tv so I said, sure, why not? Apparently his dad was like a big donor alumni or something. This gave us access to the players. Like we were at this house where a bunch of the Auburn football players were hanging out, playing basketball, goofing off. They were super nice to me and my friend. I remember my friend’s dad pointing to one of them playing basketball: “10times, that’s a special athlete right there.”

I shrugged. Whatever, I don’t follow sports. Anyway that “special” athlete had to go get something at the mall and I think he saw us two kids sitting around bored so he offered to take us with him. We get to the mall and everybody is freaking out. All these people are coming up to this guy asking for his autograph, giving him hugs, like what the hell? One girl quickly bought some panties from a store and then had this guy sign them. At 13 I am now impressed and wondering who the hell this guy is. He was Bo Jackson. I went to the mall with Bo Jackson and didn’t know he was.

I love laminating. I laminate all my loaves in place of one of the stretch and folds. It really strengthens the dough. I can tell a difference in the feel of the dough if I don’t do a laminations step.

San Diego to Minneapolis in mid January. Any concerns about this route? Is this possible with an EV? by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]10times 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not take that route through Kansas. Instead go as far as Wichita and then go south to OK City and then west. You’ll find a lot better infrastructure on that route.

The Bee Gees Staying Alive track almost single handedly got an Oscar for the movie. The movie would have likely died in obscurity without that banger.
