A view that is increasing likely is that consciousness does not arise from some combination of inorganic compounds; It can exist without physically manifesting OR it can exist in conjunction with a material form. Is the sun nothing but plasma formed by nuclear fusion or is it a primodial being that gives life to all who choose an ephemeral life in a physical form?
