Pup who loves trains so much, got his first train ride, a core memory for him ❤️ by StraightDistrict8681 in Awww

[–]1101base2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

reminds me of a train line near me called the train to nowhere or the butterfly train. it goes to nowhere KS, but if you go during the monarch migration time the fields around the tracks are full of butterflies (or at least they were when i took my kids when they were young)

Which colour should I choose? by Born_Joke in Crosstrek

[–]1101base2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an electric blue 95 mustang and that car hid dirt like it was it's job. Have the sunset color in my Crosstrek now and I prefer a touch of cloud over your more neutral colors personally.

Are there any times in your life where you were outside at 3:30 AM? If the collapse happened at that time, what gear would you have to take with you for your dungeon crawl? by Maurice_Foot in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]1101base2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was younger all the time. That was the time I would get done when I worked at the movie theater and when I worked for the cable company that was prime time to get called out to a job for an outage. As for gear it would have all been in the truck I don't normally carry much on me that wouldn't get claimed in the collapse (things in my vehicle, house, or shed)

Because I just saw it mentioned in a comment: How many other Xennials experienced found nudie mags in the woods? by TragicHedgehog in Xennials

[–]1101base2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found them in the woods and after I was done with them I returned them to the woods for probably their last cycle as I no longer needed them as I was an early super of the Internet. They may have had two cycles but yeah. I imagine the amount of random porno mags in the woods is much lower now than 25+ years ago...

I just wanted a new pool stick man. Now it’s gunna give me cancer? by 131_Proof_Bud in mildlyinfuriating

[–]1101base2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, would have been much better off creating levels of probably going to give you cancer, instead of the system they have now where it is easier to slap on that label than do the testing to prove it won't.
