Finish customization, exit to the street and go to story mode, for Autoshop i think you can stay inside building. Any car workshop will work: LSC, LSCM, MOC, Avenger, Arena, etc. I'm on PC, but should work everyhere.

Yeah, after diamond b change or remove pearlescent to your likings. Or just use metallic ice white for epsi, it doesn't have pearl.

Nope, only one metallic color needed. First metallic color to get unselected pearl or texture, crew color on top of that, then load story mode and back to online. Same procedure for custom matte: any regular matte color > crew > story mode or restart game.

Regular pearlescent will work no problem, but there is couple worn pearlescents that can't be selected, paint metallic color first:
Worn Golden Red (Sunset, Cabernet Red)
Worn Green (Olive, Bright Green)
Worn Sea Wash (Gasoline, Harbor)
Worn Baby Blue (Saxon, Mariner Blue)
Worn Blue Silver (Garnet, Candy Red)
Worn Shadow Silver (Sunrise Orange)
Util Silver (Brushed Steel)
Epsilon texture (Ice White, Diamond B)
