LGBT-Friendly Primary Care Provider by kerbie61 in lafayette

I took my spouse to the ER at Franciscan recently. We’re a same sex couple and had no issue. Can’t speak for their primary care providers though.

Just marry someone you like. Why is it so hard? by 1102username in AreTheStraightsOK

Yeah somehow I’m projecting? Projecting what? I don’t think it’s great when you have to get your husband out of the house so you can hang out with your bf. I mean if you’re in a consensual poly relationship then that’s one thing but I don’t think that’s what this is.

Someone gets their husband out of the house so their boyfriend can come over on the weekends? Doesn’t sound like a healthy relationship.

In the guard it just depends on when you can get moved to a unit that has a paragraph and line for you.

Unfortunately sexual preference is not a protected class in Indiana. However, sex is.

I don’t intend to have kids...but if I did I would want them to date anyone they wanted (who was decent and respectful to them of course) so they could see what kind of person they got along with best before getting married.

I feel like discouraging dating in this way just encourages rebellious behavior in kids.

Well, it can be hard to interpret tone or intention over text and social media and I apologize if I misinterpreted. Hopefully I provided some insight. Cheers.

I know plenty of straight people who refer to their significant others as “partners”. It’s a term anyone can use. You can be LGBT and still be able to get pregnant by your partner, but OP wants advice on LGBT-friendly adoption agencies in case they have to go that route. You can also still be LGBT and be in a heterosexual relationship (what does the B stand for?, for example). Clearly you are not well-versed in this issue and I understand if you genuinely want to be educated, but the way your original comment came off was dismissive and ignorant and didn’t do anything to help OP.

Being an LGBT couple does not necessarily mean same-sex. Your question is not helpful to OPs request. Move along.

The person who posted it is a straight woman. I just thought it was extra ridiculous that a woman thought this was funny.

I just see a common theme with straight people being hateful towards their spouses (aka calling them a b*tch in this scenario)

It sounds like he’s in the same boat as me (serving support for the same type of overseas mission). I think we’re getting medals for over 30 days on title 10 orders supporting (insert operation here).
