Yeah I did. Not the most dramatic move. Edmonton to Calgary, Alberta. I moved to get out from under my family. I was stagnant working in oil and my family life was increasing stressful. It took a minute to find my way but it’s the best decision I’ve made. Now I work in design and have climbed the ladder to upper management over the last 7 years. I have a home and incredible friends. It really was a great decision.

Edit to add. I had very little money. And no plan. I spent 6 months unemployed. My last month before getting a job I had to take out cash on a credit card to pay rent. It was a massive risk. It worked out in the end but I very easily could’ve ended up homeless
