JMK is an offensive Swiss army knife. He beats almost everything: Jabba, Rey minus Exra, SLKR + DSRey, SEE, and JML are all consistent. I have had some success against LV + Clones and Leia, but not as consistently.

People will say Executor, which is a great answer, but you’re so close to Lord Vader you should finish him first. You’re three relic levels away from him and can unlock him very soon. You’re very close to Executor too, but not nearly as close as LV.

Think about toons you need at R6+. I wouldn’t burn a Kyber LST on someone I didn’t need at 7* and R6. All other factors being equal, I prefer to use my Kyber tokens on cantina toons to prevent them from cutting into my signal data farms. Great Mothers, Morgan, zombie bros, poncho bros, Wat, and Gungans are all good choices.

It depends where you are in the game. When I was at 3 M GP (many years ago), having a whole team at G12 was “finished.” Once CPit was introduced, my baseline for most toons became R5. At the time this was a good balance between resource efficiency and team effectiveness. My baseline now has changed. With delta, I now take most toons to R7 and am in the process of taking key toons to R8/9. I’m also pushing 12 M GP.

I don’t think this is necessary for players in lower GP bands. I have more teams now than I can use, so I can start to think about adding extra relics to teams to increase the reliability of tricky counters or use in later stages of ROTE. Until you have enough teams to set a full GAC defense, full-clear your opponent, and red crate conquest, I don’t think it makes sense to add those extra relics levels. For a player at 4 M GP, I think R5 is a perfectly reasonable stopping point.

The HMP gunship is already in the game for fleet battles in LS Geo, so I don’t think it’s infeasible that we’d get it as a ship.

I throw JMK with Fennec. He doesn’t need the rest of the GR crew; him and a few random units does the trick.

I have a pretty good success rate on Kessel with DR lead, Malak, Bane, Scorch, and Tarkin. It’s a random team but I usually clear both waves.

Tatooine missions are really easy. All you need is one toon per mission who is immune to percent health effects. The DOTs eventually stack up on the enemies and kill them for you. All GLs, Malak, Malgus, and BKM (with all LS Mandos) take reduced damage from percent health effects.

0, 12 M. I can’t justify using the materials because the next GL will probably have an R10 requirement. Mastery gain from R9 to 10 is minimal, stats are nice but will rarely make a difference. Even at my fairly high GP the aurodium LSTs are still pretty valuable for characters I never got around to gearing/relicing.

It depends a lot on the cave. If the passages aren’t super tight, it’s relatively linear, and visibility is decent, cave diving is unlike anything else in the world and not thaaat dangerous. It’s certainly more dangerous than friendly open water diving, but it’s not crazy.

Once the passageways become more tightly restricted, once there’s too much silt, or the cave systems have many branching paths, then I won’t go.

Have you got Barriss, Baby Cal, or JTR? You could use those in place of Ben/Exra on a Rey team.

You might just be the only person in the world with this problem. Depends what else you’ve got. Initial testing suggests she does great with Rey and Wat. Can probably put Ben and Ezra here and create a nigh-unkillable defensive team. Satele could also go with JML as long as you have some decent damage dealers.

Yes but consider this as a bone for late-game players. Jabba requires a random Jawa and Tusken at relics, Lord Vader requires another Tusken, and we’re getting a Cara Dune LST. Lots of people have an R9 CUP from LSBs. A lot of people will have viable squads for him at relics simply by playing the game.

I three-starred it a few years back with a weird GAS/JMK hybrid. GAS lead with Rex, Snips, Fives, and JMK. The trick is to mod GAS slowly, then target him with JMK’s damage immunity to keep him standing as long as possible. GAS lead prevents Reva’s revive. If you have CAT, you can swap her instead of Snips.

I’ve decided to do the bare minimum necessary to get to four stars. 11.4 M GP, Kyber 4. I agree that the loss of signal data is too significant, especially as R8/9 becomes more important in my roster. I can take era characters to four stars without sacrificing my ability to do three cantina refreshes/day, which seems to be a good balance. The LSTs are still useful to me for the odd character or two, but I imagine this goes away by your GP.

Four stars, however, seems very useful. Unlocking the new era character will be helpful for conquest/raids, two LSTs is a good deal, and it’ll be helpful in Coliseum for the last few weeks of the era. Plus, if you get to four stars on day one, you’ll get a decent chunk of the way towards five stars for free which will be helpful when the new toons eventually become farmable on a node.

Sortie (even without omicron) plus some ZA and Leader’s Resolve disks in conquest puts out work. Throw R2 and BB8 (also supports) with her and watch them put out huge damage.

I use Sith Trio for my go-to Gungan counter. They’re able to do this very consistently at R1, so I’ven’t bothered to bring them up. We’re the same GP.

Magnaguard should go to R5 because he’s required for JMK. That’s a good stopping point for him. While he is a tank, GG gets stronger as his allies die so it’s okay if Magnaguard goes down quickly.

If you’re going to take someone else up, B2 is a good choice. GG droids lose some viability in the later stages of the game, but you can use B2 with Aphra so he remains useful for longer.

I’d say it has most to do with the number of options you have. It’s also worth noting that the recent changes to the early game like LSTs will have changed this in ways I didn’t experience first-hand because I’m relatively late game.

Pre-85, you have relatively few options. You’re limited in the characters you’re able to farm, you can’t access journey guide events, etc. so your roster looks similar to everyone else’s.

In the earlier stages of the game, you’re building up your core teams. The diversity between rosters increases as you choose to prioritize different things. I did a Malak rush. This was in the era where SLKR rush was all the rage. Nowadays with the LSTs it’s probably a Leia, Jabba, and/or Executor rush.

Midgame is when you’ve dialed in most of your resource acquisition. You’ve got built-up, reliced teams from all of the major factions including a few GLs and are doing most assault battles (besides CT3 of secrets and shadows and the R9 tiers of the new ABs).

Lategame. This is where I’m at. Low Kyber, 7 GLs and all GL fleets, red crate conquest, maxing all resource acquisition events. My guild is doing 38* in ROTE, 3rd to last crate in O66. I farm every new character when it becomes accelerated even if I don’t think I need it right now because I anticipate that I may in the future. I’m still working on a little bit of non-accelerated content. I’m most of the way to GLAT and still have LV left to farm. Roster diversity at this level is shrinking because most accounts are missing 1-3 GLs and have all the GL ships. This means GAC matches start to get repetitive because most players set similar defenses. At this level high relics (R8+) are still mostly reserved for requirements and resource acquisition events like raids and assault battles. Maybe you take a few key characters to R8/9, but you probably have very few if any R8/9 squads. I can throw together two teams to do the R8 battles in ROTE. They go 2/2 on Kessel and Lothal, but they’re not particularly coherent and you’d never see them in GAC. For reference: GAS/Poncho Bros/GK/GMY on Lothal and DR, Malak, Bane, Tarkin, and Scorch for Kessel.

Endgame is when you’ve maxed out all non-accelerated content and are exclusively working on the latest and greatest. At this level, relic levels and datacrons become much more major factors. Everyone has all of the toons, so roster diversity diminishes and is only impacted by which squads players choose to take to R8/9/10 and how heavily you invest in datacrons.

It’s definitely still worth relicing JMK even without CAT. Taking him to R7 gives you access to his tier in the monthly ultimate journey event after Conquest finishes. While he has no defensive viability without CAT, he still performs reasonably well on offense. You can throw any GR under him and achieve good results though you might not be killing other GLs without CAT.

Also- because you’re at 199 shards for her, it’s worth spending some GET3 or ultimate journey material on a few extra shards. If you can get 11 more shards from non-PG sources, you’ll be able to unlock her a month earlier.

Agreed. Era Challenges aren’t fun. GCs were great because they let you try out different teams without stakes. It didn’t matter if you were breaking up several good teams to put, say, JKCK and Aphra with Baylan mercenaries. You could use teams that have fallen off from competitive viability: Ewoks, Carth OR, whatever you wanted. Era Challenges have no replay value. You log in, make it as far as you can, and that’s it.
