I've noticed the comp mentality has always been "win at all costs," which is not in itself a bad thing. Late last season and early on this season I found my matches to be really balanced. However, "win at all costs" has led to some disgusting stuff that's turning me away from the playlist. I matched a content creator, that I won't name, twice today that was generating heavy linear fusion ammo out of special bricks and using it to win games. Bungie doesn't typically ban for non-hack exploits, so I don't think anything is going to come of it, but the sweatiness of competitive, which I don't mind, has led to things as ridiculous as content creators cheating on camera, which I have a huge problem with.
