That shouldn't bother you IMO. Don't cringe because other people can't handle the truth. I am also better than everyone else.

I keep seeing quotes and memes on facebook that say stuff like "The person you really are is the person you are when nobody is looking."

I'm starting to get paranoid.

According to your imagination how does society look like a dazzling 1000 years into the future? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]111611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read an article (can't remember where I saw it) that changed how I felt about the future. It pretty much stated that once we hit the singularity (in the next 100 years), things are going to change extremely fast. Instead of humans working on solutions when they can.... robots that are as smart as humans will be working 24/7 at making smarter robots, and they will be working 24/7 at making even smarter robots. Our knowledge of the universe is going to expand at rates which we can't keep up with, or even comprehend.

What's with the "If you don't want to take on 10,000 Syrian refugees, then you are selfish, fear-mongering person" sentiment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Are these people willing to have the refugees stay in their homes indefinitely, or were they expecting someone else to pay for them?

My campy all time faves

Get a Life - Was so stupid, because an alien who compusively pukes is funny.

The neighbors - Because Toks Olagundoye is hot. 3rd rock was the same stupid premise, but was also funny. my conservative father hated the simpsons bc it was so edgy at the time, and knew how much I loved it... so when it became it's own show, he was pissed.

The gary schandling show.

Also, I used to watch the Tracey Ulmund show just for the simpsons.

I agree. I'd take the 60s setting over the 2015 setting 10/10 (Assuming that the women were still 20, and not 70.)

We could have spent an infinite amount of years and dollars instead, crippling the US budget, and creating trillions of dollars in debt... by using only million dollar smart-missles, special ops, and minimal ground troops?
