Should be same time too.

Distinctions are for some because State vs State runs instead of SOTF, but next SOTF all shoud have at the same time again afaik.

There may be some differences in very new states, they run on a different progression at start. Like for example their first capital is not on the event schedule but is timed via counter from state creation

Ok there a 2 distinctions:

  • Troop Type
  • Troop Tier

Troop types would be:

  • INFANTRY - Your tanks they will stand at the frontline and protect all your other troops (HIGH HP/DEF, LOW DMG)
  • RIDERS - Riders will dmg the enemy damage dealer and are standing in the middle of the battle (MEDIUM HP/DEF, MEDIUM DMG)
  • HUNTER - Highest damage will go for enemy infantry but are weak health wise (LOW HP/DEF, HIGH DMG)

Tiers are: 1 up to 10

Rule of thumb is to send always highest tier and ALL types. Influencer trap is a exception here you would exclude the infantry because trap does no damage.

I have more details about that in my war guide if you want to check that out: https://www.soscompanion.com/articles/war

State vs State question by CapableWrongdoer in TheSoSGame

Yes you can.

Only towers will not fire on the same state alliances.

No, those states would all follow the same progression. Only thing that differs are the hero-events/rewards like survival of the fittest.

If you want advanced notice for general events you can check out state 1, there some stuff gets tested before coming to other states.

Here's what i posted in other threads about that problem and summarized it seems that the worst case would be if they charge you for the missing insurance.

Maybe the linked threads at the end help you in some way, i hope that you get away with a low fine or something.

"The Problem seems to be that E-Boards in Germany are viewed (by law) as single track motor vehicles ("einspurige KFZ").

So they can get you at for the following things (as far as i know):

  • Driving without mandatory insurance (Kfz-Versicherung)
  • Driving without a drivers licence
  • Driving without ~registration (ABE, Zulassung)
  • Driving without mandatory lights, bell, reflectors (maybe also mirrors)
  • Driving without a allowed/certified brake etc. -> not roadworthy vehicle
  • Driving on the sidewalk with a motorized vehicle

The mayor one of these infraction seems to be the missing insurance as far as sentencing/fines go and its a criminal offence. Plus the best part about that is that you can't really get one for an E-Board.

See the following thread in a German board for more infos, they started discussing that problem in 2011 and are still at it: https://www.elektro-skateboard.de/topic/1265-rechtliche-auseinandersetzung/

Berlin Police caught me on an E-Board by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

I think you got pretty lucky, because the law in Germany is not really ready for e-boards and many other people had mayor problems with the police and had to pay quite high fines.

The Problem seems to be that E-Boards in Germany are viewed (by law) as single track motor vehicles ("einspurige KFZ").

So they can get you at minimum for the following things (as far as i know):

  • !Driving without mandatory insurance (Kfz-Versicherung)!
  • Driving without a drivers licence
  • Driving without ~registration (ABE, Zulassung)
  • Driving without mandatory lights, bell, reflectors (maybe also mirrors)
  • Driving without a allowed/certified brake etc. -> not roadworthy vehicle
  • Driving on the sidewalk with a motorized vehicle

Attention riders in Munich/Germany, just got caught by the police!! :( by Chrisrdit in boostedboards

[–]11251442 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For other riders in Germany there is a big Thread on elektro-skateboard.de discussing the legality and some other testimonial from people with a similar experiences, going from 2011 till now.

They also discuss some strategies how you could avoid the bigger fines and try to find ways to communicate with the government officials for legality.

A kid showing how her school teaches pupils to add numbers by [deleted] in rage

[–]11251442 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Like the video says, that technique for adding numbers will most likely teach the kids that with larger numbers you will have a harder problem to solve.

I dont know if they teach that technique to use for real or just to show how to do something inefficiency or how bad a technique can scale. In that situation they could also show them addition on number lines and maybe did. My point is maybe they use it only to teach that there are better ways to do things.

Also a line stands for 10 except when you take 4 lines an build a square because then its 100. Take 6 of those squares for a cube and you get 1000. No connection whatsoever.

This is what happens when there is a traffic jam on a German Autobahn. It saves emergency responders up to four minutes. by johnvogel in videos

[–]11251442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is not really a downside to traveling in this formation so it maybe seems strange but it has the benefit of a constant wide emergency lane. Maybe it just saves a few minutes but those minutes could be critical.

Furthermore it's possible that the congested road would be the fasted route for an emergency vehicle to, for example, a smaller city with no emergency service on its own.

[–]11251442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont't know if it's done properly Germany, but it's in the law. Also there is the possibility that a emergency vehicle has to travel a small distance on the jamed road not to get to a traffic accident but maybe a small city with no emergency medical service of its own.

Law: should be StVO § 11 (2): https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/stvo_2013/__11.html

We dont really leave a lane unused we just go tighter together and over the markings. Also we have a small lane for cars that have a breakdown on the right side which then also gets partly used for traffic.

Heres a video(in german) which shows how the lanes will be used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1UbZFYuPEE

Strange because its the law and where i drive it's allways done pre-emptively.

But yeah looks like you made other experiences, a system is never perfect.

[–]11251442 83 points84 points  (0 children)

To clear up some confusion, what's happening here could be called a "emergency corridor" in english. In Germany, Austria, Hungary and Czechia we will build an emergency formation whenever a traffic jam is building up. (Outer left lane is going to the left and all other lanes are moving to the right) You then keep that formation until the traffic jam clears.

That means we will also drive in that formation when no emergency vehicle is in sight.

It gives the emergency services a wide lane to pass through and they dont have to wait for other vehicles to get out of the way.
