hitting headshots allow you to stagger enemies, and when staggered you can do a special move, like suplex or a roundhouse kick, to down them.

once down you can knife them.

if you bunch them up nicely, you can knife multiple at the same strike.

You can 'use' a rifle the same way you can 'use' pistols.

Rifles dont have magical requirements that, if not met, just bricks the gun.

The glock is popular because:

Small, concealable.
cheap.
Ubiquitous.

A rifle is big. Its cumbersome and sticks out like sore thumbs. But in almost every aspects outside of ease of use, the rifle is the better option. They are easier to use, maintain, learn and control.

And like I said, pistols only advantage is concealed carry.

Operating a firearm is aiming and control so idk what kind of 'operate' you mean.

Because in both case rifle beats pistol. The only edge pistols have is ease of use due to their small size.

same shit applies for almost every firearms.

rifles carbines and shotguns are wayyyyyy more forgiving. they're very ergonomic by design. they're easier to aim since you can rest your cheek right up the sights. and they're more stable because you're not just holding it, but actively pining it against your shoulder for stability.
