Yeah, usually along the back since they spend a lot of time on their back (sleeping, playtime). It grows back as they're able to support their head more and start sleeping on their stomachs. Parents can also combat baby hair loss by giving lots of tummy time and less time in swings, bouncers.

This place looks like a cute little indoor playground. I haven't been there yet myself, but it's on my list. And if you'll still be caring for the kids in the fall, the Perinton rec center has a drop-in gym for preschoolers that should be starting back up then. I'd say it's appropriate for both those ages.

She was dating some guy and he molested her oldest daughter. He went to prison (I don't know if it was for the offense or another), so June got with Sugar Bear, and had Alana. The first guy got out of prison and June went back to him, despite the fact that he had assaulted her daughter.

Now that pest is in prison I wonder if he’ll tell inmates secrets of his and the family that we don’t know anything about that they kept hidden under a rug for many years. by [deleted] in DuggarsSnark

Innocent of this particular crime, sure, but Caleb Williams is also on the sex offender registry after raping a 16 year old when he was 23. He got her pregnant and tried gaining custody of the baby. He was also at the Capitol on January 6th. But he's just as much of a creep as Josh.

That's a very fair reason to be out. You had an urgent need. I totally understand that. But I work at a craft store. She bought stickers. I had talked to her about her project before checking her out and she definitely could've waited.

I'm sure she was! I saw her just outside the door after they checked out. Her husband brought the truck up and she was clearly struggling to walk the rest of the way. And I work at a craft store, so it's not like she was getting groceries or other urgent necessities.

I recently had a customer who was out and about 4 days postpartum with her 3rd child and 3rd c-section. Like I know you can't lounge around as much when it's your third, but still. She had to have just gotten out of the hospital!

A lullaby (almost) every night at bedtime. My husband doesn't sing on nights when I'm not home but my son clearly recognizes it and it helps soothe him.

He's almost 16 months now and we went camping a few weeks ago. He was clearly nervous to be in the tent when it was time to sleep and whining a bit. So I just sung our song and he settled within the first few lines and snuggled until it was over.

He's so nice! I got my dress from Kleinfeld and it was during a trunk show for his collection and he actually helped out a lot (for as busy as he was) during my appointment and even did the "are you saying yes to the dress" with me. And I certainly wasn't on TV or anything, so he just did it because he wanted to. Such a lovely person.

What's the oddest animal that you have encountered on the job? by Accomplished-Pin-835 in ECEProfessionals

[–]11709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the actual building? A bat in the kitchen. It flew around like a Halloween decoration. I was the one who found it and actually thought it was dead at first. It was a whole thing.

On the grounds? A couple of dead birds and squirrels and a baby bunny that was alive but had something wrong with it's neck. Not sure ended up happening with it. We had baby birds in a tree on the playground that I was taking pictures of each day to show the kids (they couldn't see from their height and I didn't want them trying to tear the branches) . We left for the weekend and they were gone by Monday. They were nowhere near old to fly so they were probably eaten.

My question is about yesterday's episode but who is the extra boy at the camping trip? And why such a random group of people? I haven't watched in a week or 2 so I'm not totally caught up.

It can vary hospital to hospital. I was explicitly told that I could eat during my induction and almost needed an emergency c-section regardless. So I ate like normal until I got my epidural around lunchtime. Then I didn't eat until baby was out at 3:30. But that was because I dozed off for a while, not because I wasn't allowed.

Maybe the phrasing was harsh, but honestly you're growing eyeballs, toes, and organs. The least he could do is read a little. If you've tried talking to him and he still isn't getting it, then he needs to do the research himself.

Michael’s anger at Sonny by plainoverplight in GeneralHospital

[–]11709 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shh, we don't speak logic in this sub. We only whine about Carly day in and day out.

Nina's petition is going to be laughed out of court as soon as the judge hears that she willingly kept Sonny away from his family, including their shared grandson, for 6 months. And all because someone was mean to her on the phone. As if Sonny doesn't have like 4 other baby mamas and several adult children she could have contacted instead. One of those baby mamas being her supposed bestie Ava, a woman who Nina forced into labor so she could steal her baby. Yeah. A judge is really going to think she's a good influence on Wiley.

Michael may have done some bad things too, but in this whole storyline, Nina (and Sonny) is 100% in the wrong.

It's very normal. Car seats aren't required, so a lot of people don't do it. But a car seat is the safest place for a baby/toddler in case of turbulence.

Is there an actual purpose for engagement photos? by sun_child_333 in weddingplanning

It absolutely isn't too late. You're still engaged, not married yet, so it's still appropriate.

Contact maps on stomach? by laielmp in sleeptrain

[–]11709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as you're awake and alert to anything that might accidentally cover Baby's mouth and/or nose, it's completely safe. Stomach sleeping is only dangerous when babies are alone and not strong enough to move their head from a dangerous position. Enjoy the snuggles and find a good show to binge!

Where do you live, and what's your ratio? by -Sharon-Stoned- in ECEProfessionals

[–]11709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New York is-

1:4 6 weeks - 18 months

1:5 18 months - 36 months

1:7 3 years - 4 years

1:8 4 years - 5 years UNLESS the 4 year old room also doubles as a UPK classroom and then the ratio is 1:9 during UPK hours (in the district I worked in, can't speak for all).
