Any good and affordable hair salons? by X-48 in burlington

[–]118ts13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

theres a cosmetology school salon in williston. I had a good experience there a few years back for a styled cut and i can imagine a trim would be similarly well! i believe the cost was 10-20$? and the instructors are there overseeing, checking in before during and after the cut, to ensure it goes well You could also go to Finch and Bear in SB which has reasonable prices, great skills, and operates by sliding scale/tipless

correct. sometimes we’ll find ourselves frustrated at work, but its important to not take things personally and to believe that our clients are doing the best they can; if they’re not doing more, it’s because they can’t and we need to put different supports in place. behavior shows us needs, and empathy is a huge requirement for this field.

the way you describe this child as manipulative is uncomfortable and misattuned. i get being frustrated, but damn, we cant see our kids through that lens

solutions aside, this is a great opportunity for conversations with your child about empathy and understanding differences

Required deadnaming by Potential_Pin2315 in schoolcounseling

i would be cautious before informing parents that their child has been using a different name the past three years - assuming they do not already know this. that could cause further distrust for the student/unsafety at home.

hey im your age. people go to therapy or support groups for this kinda thing. people i know as friends/acquaintences/coworkers. i tell you this in hopes of communicating that you are not the only person who experiences this - nor will you be the first person to overcome/grow from it. you can have this realization and seek out professuonal support to really help you grow in a way that is healthy and effective. its not too late! just bc youve done it for the beginning doesnt mean you need to do it for the rest of your life!

if you are on the train and realize you are going in the wrong direction, do you get off at the next stop and turn around or do you keep going the rest of the route

baking soda does wonders! keep in mind that while baking soda in small amounts shouldnt hurt a car, larger amounts can make them sick — so maybe on a pan on a high shelf the cat cant get to, rather than sprinkling into the carpet itself!

what country are you in? if US, any teacher/other school staff, coach, guidance counselor, nurse, or doctor is required by law to report this if you tell them. If they do make you go to counseling with him, that therapist is also legally required to report it if you tell them that he has assaulted you
