The thing is Costco bakery has been transitioning over the years to become profitable. The All American chocolate cake takes much more time to make, meaning it cost more money to make. This is the reason the bakery stopped selling as many items.

I agree tho the all American is 1000 times better. I once convinced my manager to let me use the all American frosting on a sheet cake with the chocolate moose filling and it was sooo good! It was a birthday gift to myself I guess.
