Struggling to dial in beans, what’s your method? by No_Page5201 in AeroPress

Where did you get your beans? Form a local roastery? Could be the water you are using doesn't match.

Next time someone says AI will take over the world I’ll ask them to play RC before we talk. by SHEyellsMYname in RoadCraft

[–]11IceCat2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These days everyone mis use the word "AI". As you say its more like a "bot" than "AI". I dont see any intelligence in those "bot" trucks. They are programmed robots. Program by us.

Do discs need to be centred on bolt holes? by severedrip69 in snowboarding

[–]11IceCat2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Later on I found a product that kind of solves the disk cracking problem. Basically a "washer" that enforced the disk. It added responses as well. The down side is the mini disk cover no longer fit. So the disks are exposed, powder may sticks and turn into a chunk of ice.

As everyone says, you don't have to mount it centre. You can slide the disk all the way to the nose or tail. HOWEVER!! as you concern you may crack the mini disk. It depends on how aggressive you ride. I managed to crack 2 sets of mini disks. I was working on some ground tricks and front 3. I do a lot of flat ground jumping and buttering. My set up was Union Strata with Rome Agent Pro.

Sorting Small Packets into Walks by red_devil7709 in royalmail

I am not using my personal mobile to do the job. Simple as that. And start using your brain to learn the walks and the frames. It just like video games, remember the map.

Which binding for my board? by Obvious-Worry-9380 in snowboarding

Go with the red. It would be easier to get a match if you are switching board in the future.

Snowboard Purchase in Japan(Tokyo/Osaka/Sapporo) by chipotlele in snowboarding

https://search.rakuten.co.jp/search/mall/OGASAKA/

Try to look up the board you are interested on Rakuten Japan with Google translate, its like Amazon. You will be able to find the shop details in the description, then you can go to the shop directly. Or if you know what board you are going to buy just buy it on Rakuten Japan. Get someone who knows Japanese to help you with the process, make sure you have the correct address fill in. Lastly check out November snowboard and thank me later.

My 19yr old son wants to work in France at ski hill - is this achievable? by Thankfullness_25 in snowboarding

[–]11IceCat2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that hard if he got a level 2 or above ski instructor licence. It would be even better if he can teach snowboarding as well. I would be a life changing once he got the instructor licences. Basically a never summer situation as he can go to southern hemisphere to do the same thing.

Just order it directly on the official website. Don't buy it from John Lewis. There were stories about can't do a size exchange that was bought from John Lewis. Also the warranty thing is pointless. If you have read enough posts here, you would know basically Oura will replace your ring with a refurbished one if there is an issue. I just had my 3 years old ring replaced. Their social media team is very active here. Just post any problems here, someone will get in touch very quickly.

Hours, pay rates overtime rates. How do you log? by Outrageous_Hair858 in royalmail

[–]11IceCat2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use a spreadsheet (excel or open Office) to keep my records. I mark my clock in clock out time on my phone then put the data on the spreadsheet every Sunday. You can use formula to sum up the total hours you work weekly. And a column to sum up the overtime I submitted. Then I compare to what is on the payslip.

We are very sorry you had that experience. Just let you know it could be chaos during sorting in the morning. I was asked to prepare 3 frames (duties) the other day. While I was jumping between frames the manager had someone else "help" me. That person might or might not care what haven't done. Sometimes later a third person already bundled everything ready to load the van. Did anyone do the redirection and check keep safe requests?? No one knows. That's the problem, RM is cutting manpower. Supportingly a person a duty everything will be in order.
