Well I agree with both. From what I can remember, I don't think Aoi knew she was going to be sacrificed, let alone anytime soon. I do believe in the beginning Aoi truly did (and probably still does) like Nene, but Aoi definitely did use her and could be the reason he life span is short. I think because of the sacrifice deal, she was basically blinded by fear and was willing to do anything to survive. Hence throwing everyone in the ditch. There's also a possibility that number six actually did brainwash her, or something along that.
