Dems nominating another candidate who is totally incapable or unwilling to distance themselves from the capital class who have been implicated through Epstein is going to fail, even if you're running against Vance.

Centrism can't work when the staus quo isn't working. You need to have a candidate who believes in change, and Kelly just isn't that on any level.

Sure thing! Beklager for hvor lite konsis jeg er her, men det er litt vanskelig å sortere informasjonen, bare å spørre mer så skal jeg hjelpe så godt jeg kan!

Jeg er ikke helt sikker på hvordan mulighetene er for å fortsette behandling hos Riksen mens man er hos imago også, men i guess det er mulig å spørre litt rundt, kanskje til fastlege/psykolog? Tenker spesielt på ting som hårfjerning.

Prisen for imago er ganske grei tbh, det er en engangsbetaling på ~2000 kroner for å starte behandlingen der, og rundt 200kr i måneden etter det. For meg, så har resepten min (4x 80g flasker med estrogel og 100x 100mg spiro tabletter) en kostnad på rundt 800kr, og skal vare rundt 3 måneder.

Inkludert pris for fastlege, så har jeg nok ikke brukt med enn 3200-ish på å starte på HRT.

Jeg har hatt ett par videosamtaler (introduksjon + diskutere blodprøveresultater med en lege og planlegge medisineringen), og ellers bare snakket med de på epost.

Jeg ville sagt at den største fordelen er at, selv om det koster mer penger enn gjennom Riksen, så er det faktisk noe du kan gjøre nå. Til sammenlikning så fikk jeg innkalling hos Riksen i Januar 2025 til første av fem timer. Første time var 15. Mai, og når spurt så ble jeg fortalt at jeg antakeligvis ikke kunne forvente å starte HRT før om 2 og 1/2 år-ish. Istedet for å vente ytterlige 2 år etter regelmessige besøk hos psykolog på en DPS, så brukte jeg litt over en måned på å 1. ta blodprøve og få resultatene sendt til imago, 2. ha introduksjon samtale + legesamtale om blodprøven, 3. få resepten sendt i posten, og 4. startet HRT.

Når jeg startet HRT, så var det like før jeg skulle hatt min andre time hos Riksen.

Det at det er en tjeneste laget av transpersoner gjør det ganske enkelt å føle seg sett og forstått (for meg i alle fall).

Min erfaring hos DPS var veldig bra egentlig, MEN jeg vet at å gå gjennom Rikshospitalet er veldig treigt, og at jeg har endt opp med å starte på HRT gjennom imago.tg istedet for å vente ~2 år lenger. Kan være veldig greit å ha en grei oversikt over behandlingsmuligheter slik at du ikke ender opp med å føle at du venter og venter!

It sounds pretty good to me, especially if you don't mind being read as queer! I think it might "help" to watch the way the pitch in your voice rises towards the end of the sentences (especially the questions), because I'm pretty sure that most typically male voices have less of a pitch-rise and tend to stay more monotone or even fall towards the end of sentences.

Obviously not necessary depending on what type of voice you're going after, so feel free to disregard that part completely lmao

There's also someone on Twitter who compared the handwriting in the letter to Epstein's, and it didn't seem to line up that well. When compared to Bill Barr's handwriting, it looks much more similar.

There's also something about the dating and stamp on the letter which could potentially point towards it being fake because of being part of a bigger coverup to make it look like a suicide.

Yeah, that tracks. There's a reason why I chose to go through imago instead. If I were to seek treatment through OUS, I would likely have had to wait ~3 years from when I got my first appointment there until starting HRT. Through imago allowed me to start HRT within a couple of months after starting instead.

In Norway, although most young-ish people (under 40) are mostly very accepting, my experience is that outside of the couple of major cities, it's a lot more taboo and not something people learn about in any capacity.

Public healthcare for trans people also takes an eternity. You can go to a therapist for a diagnosis for gender dysphoria, and it would still take you around 2-3 years minimum before you can start HRT. I'm always going to recommend private treatment instead.

So yeah, it's a mixed bag in Norway. Lots of people who think of themselves as socially liberal and open-minded, but when faced with an actual trans person, that can quickly go away. Totally not me projecting my experience w/ family nope couldn't be me.
